"Elevators were terrible but internet was amazing "

"Clean and maintained older property. King suite had a chair, bench, desk/chair, single cup coffee maker, refrigerator, and TV. Small 1/2 bath. Sufficient for the price (78$). I would stay again. Also dog friendly up to 80 lbs. The staff were super friendly."

"Room was not clean. The stove and the refrigerator had crusted food on them. The shelf in the closet was broken and hanging from the wall. The smoke detector was clearly not operational and was hanging from the ceiling only connected on one side. The bellman’s cart had flat tires. The bathroom had burn marks on the counter and caulk was peeling from the seams in the counter with crud crusted in the gaps. "

"My room was clean. Staff responsive. Breakfast and sundry amenities were better than the marketing shows. The parking lot is next to the building, but it's an open lot—not "secure" as their marketing claims. The marketing photos show the good parts of the hotel, and there are some. But there is more photo glitz than reality. The lake view is interrupted by a shoddy paved area, and the lake itself is unattractive. Don't book a lake view or anything on the first floor, since the window louvers (no curtains) aren't private. The general impression is that this is a budget hotel. OK for a brief stay. "
