Dog friendly in room and outside. Not dog friendly anywhere else. We had to go elsewhere to eat. Dissapointed to say the least. Will not be back. Needs upgrading.

It seems the staff does the best they can with what Britannia provides. The building is in poor condition and run down. It has the potential to be a spectacular destination if the owners spent some money. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Any work that has been done, has been done on the cheap. They get their senior bus tours and seem to be happy with the money that brings in. The restaurant is a glorified cafeteria and has absolutely no character. Carpets were dirty snd in need of vacuuming. If your looking to stay here, keep looking.

Much improved since my last visit - room had been repainted, new furniture and beds, old dank bathroom converted to bright walk in shower room and new carpets and curtains - only downside was the 3 foot single beds have been swopped out for narrow 2 foot beds.

A very good hotel & great friendly staff. A very quiet area, despite being very close the Prestwick Airport. The only issue is that if you follow the directions by Satnav it doesn’t get you to the Hotel as it’s not well sign posted.

Inte lyxigt, inte en massa kuddar, handdukar och fina hygienprodukter, inga sängbord eller sänglampor. Hyfsad frukost. Man blev mätt av middagsbuffén, inte jättegott men helt acceptabelt. Fantastiska omgivningar, service-minded personal, bra Wi-Fi, nära till färjor. Som sagt, inte lyxigt, inget extra men bäst pris/prestanda på hela vår Skottlandsresa.
