"We stayed for a couple of hours into our planned 4-night visit. But we saw a few things that prompted us to cancel our stay and leave. My husband saw a prostitute in the hallway, and the lobby smelled like marijuana. The pool was packed with people. Our shower leaked all over the floor, and our TV didn't work. We didn't feel comfortable staying there with our kids because we worried about safety and, potentially, bed bugs. Fortunately, the staff was very helpful and fully refunded our trip."

"Very nice stay. I was able to get a great price on the room, via a Hotels.com discount. But the room, the grounds, everything, far exceeded my expectations. The only bad part is that I was too exhausted to enjoy most of it. I checked in early and went to sleep until about 9 pm. There are lots of places to eat near the hotel, so I was able to run and grab something and get back in about 10 minutes. Then I went back to sleep and slept through breakfast! That sad part is that the only thing I remember about the place was the beautiful lake view, the oversized lobby, the bar on the 2nd floor, and the bed and the shower. I was so tired it was a chore just to get around to enjoying the comfort of the place. The staff was very nice. From the receptionist, (I hope I'm right about this...I think her name was Jennifer.) who was beyond polite and helpful, and put up with my incessant sleepy rambling when I checked in, to the cleaning staff, who didn't speak English, but made sure I had enough of everything that I might need. Parking is in a weird spot a little short walk from the front of the hotel, but there were plenty of spots. If I ever travel that way again, I will definitely seek out this hotel. I'm looking forward to enjoying the breakfast and the grill. Highly recommended."

"The highway noise is very loud and I couldn’t find a way to keep the a/c fan on constantly to drown it out. You may want to request a room on the north side, farthest from the road to minimize the road noise. Also, it appeared that the a/c unit would turn itself off when you were out of the room and also possibly while sleeping because it got very warm. The pool was not open while we were there (beginning of June) and only the main floor ice machine was working. At our time of check-out I wanted to fill my water bottle with ice water since we had a full day of hiking and exploring, however maintenance was working on the only working ice machine. It was very frustrating. Also, the front desk people were not very helpful."
