Cecelia and staff were wonderful. We were here 15 years ago and have to make sure we are not that long coming back. Tour of the castle was fabulous and we were there during the annual Proceno Festival so was able to enjoy with the locals. Great experience and hope to be back soon.

Couples visit

We loved this place and were sad to leave. Magnificent views, quiet and relaxing and amazing in house home prepared food in the restaurant. Staying at a castle was a highlight of our trip. It was very convenient to see our planned areas of Saturnia hot springs, Orvieto and Civita de Bagnoregio. We also did a local winery tour and tasting. I hope to be back again soon!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment, was great for a family with kids. The staff was great! Very helpful. Breakfast was great and dinner was very nice. A unique experience to stay in a castle town Not much to do there but there is a small town close by. We took a day trip the the lake about 40 mins away. Was nice

Das war ein einmaliges Erlebnis in den Nebengebäuden einer Burg zu übernachten. Das Hotel ist in Familienbesitz und wird mit viel Liebe betrieben. Es gibt ein gutes Frühstück und Abends kann man im zum Hotel gehörenden Restaurant lokale Gerichte und Wein genießen. Alles in familiärer warmer Atmosphäre. esperienza da fare

Si tratta di una sistemazione che di albergo ha solo il nome. Si tratta di sistemazioni in varie location all’interno del borgo fortificato ai piedi del castello. In realtà, almeno nel nostro caso, è stato come entrare in casa di tanti anni fa con tutti gli accessori lasciati dagli abitanti con tutti i limiti ma anche con tutto il fascino dell’antico. Certo non saranno state proprio a norma le scale ripide all’ingresso, le lampadine non perfettamente isolate, la legna per il camino in camera nascondeva qualche ragno e non proprio sicuro il gradone nella stanza… ma che spettacolo il paesaggio sulle colline circostanti e sul paese dall’ampio terrazzo, il camino in camera, il letto altissimo, il pavimento originale in cotto! Peccato per il buffet a colazione “in libertà” senza troppo rispetto per le regole covid, quanto offerto avrebbe meritato di essere gustato nel migliore dei modi La sistemazione offre anche una piscina e un ampio parco
