"Excellent backdrop and location and in excellent condition with a massive room. Reception staff were amazing as was the breakfast buffet and service provided in the morning. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room however and the bar service closes at 11pm. The prices on the bar menu were outdated and therefore bill was higher than expected. "The room, property and staff were friendly, helpful and informative and the junior suite was clean, quiet and very large with separate kitchen and dining table. The breakfast, pre-packed fresh pastries and fruit, was enough for my breakfast and lunch (good for day trips). The hotel was convenient to the castle and town center for me, but its location up the hill from the harbor may be difficult for those with walking limitations: sidewalks can be steep and roads must be crossed without crosswalks or traffic lights."

"Imaret hotel is a gem. The hotel is actually a historical building with lots of history (take the free tour to learn all about it) The service and staff were absolutely excellent. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The dining was truly 5 star (and I did not realize that dinner was included in the booking as well as breakfast) Bookings are pricey even by 5 star standards but I don’t regret spending a little extra on this hotel My only complaint would be the air condition was not strong enough to cool the room adequately (Greece was experiencing an extreme heat wave during our stay, and the Dome room we were staying in let in more heat than a traditional hotel). Air condition worked but was not strong enough to cool the upper level of the room (where the bed was located)"
