Hard to rate this property as our accommodation in the complex was brand new. So our studio was very clean and had all required amenities. This alone deserves a 5 star. The complex is a 3-4 min walk from beach, so great accessibility. Being so close to the beach, the price was very reasonable. Our issue was with the exterior of the premises. The pool water was very cloudy and unclean when we arrived. We were unable to use the pool until day 6 of our 10 nite stay after the pool maintenance guy showed up on the 5th day and did maintenance on the pool after which we were told it would be useable the next day. The area around the pool is not maintained. The area needs sweeping. The pool furniture needs cleaning. There is a bin with pool toys but they are all very dirty. it would be better if the bin n toys were removed. The property advertises a communal clothesline and clothespins in each unit. This is untrue. When we erected a small line to dry our swimwear, we were sent a message to remove it. The exterior gets a 3 star at most. It should also be noted there is construction all around the property which is now in preliminary stages so noise was not a problem. As the construction progresses, noise may become an issue.

I had an amazing experience at the South Fleetwood Villas. I was in Suite 2 which is a studio with a comfortable king bed, a full kitchen, including a microwave, coffee maker, electric tea pot, stove and full size refrigerator. The Suite was immaculately clean. All the kitchen supplies you would ever need. The room also included beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a cooler with wheels, that you could take to the beach or throw in your car to take to another beach. Also, they have beach chairs already on Grace Bay for you to use. The beach is 50 ft from this villa. Just behind The Mansion condos. it’s the perfect spot. 1/4 mile to town where all the shops and bars are. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It’s a great value for where it is and what is in included in the accommodations. I also enjoyed my private patio and the peaceful pool area. The pool was very clean! I felt very safe here as the villas are gated. Great bang for your buck here! I highly recommend the South Fleetwood Villas.

Very cozy spot super close to beach, many restaurants and supermarket. If you are looking for a high-rise hotel this is not for you. If you are looking for something with character then this is your place. We did not have a car and it was fine. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was because you had to pick up and drop of the key at a different location. Also they required a 250 deposit that I was not aware of until day before we got there. Otherwise it was great. We were in the effeciency. Small bed but fine for me and my teenage daughter. Shower went hot and cold but that did not bother us. Kitchen had everything you would need. We loved being able to sit outside on the deck and have our morning coffee. We never felt uncomfortable walking anywhere. Any issues we had (smoke alarm battery was dead, electricity went out) was fixed very quickly. Communication was very easy. Would definitely stay again.

This was an absolute gorgeous Villa, we stayed in studio 2 and really enjoyed it. The beach is 2 min away and within 5 min you are downtown and have dining an shopping options. The studio offered beach chairs, and an umbrella. While you don’t need it for grave bay beach (they have beach chairs) we used them for the other beaches we went to. We would definitely rent this gem again.

The South Fleetwood property is an excellent place to stay in Grace Bay! It's a short walk to the beach and a shot walk into town, with dining and shopping nearby. The unit was newly renovated, and the pool was relaxing.

I didn't like the fact that there was no onsite management to be able to contact nor was there a unit phone to permit local calling. Also, I didn't like that we were near another unit where construction was ongoing for our entire stay. Apparently, the complex was still not fully developed.

My husband and I paid in advance for a full week here, but when we arrived we were told our reservation had been cancelled. The manager said that mistakes had been made, and to make up for that we would get a full refund, and a free future stay. The week (where we ended up at another place) is now over, but neither of these things have happened. This was a trip to celebrate my 75th birthday later this month, and the unexpected and unwelcome change of plans, as well as the manager’s unkindness, put the trip under a black cloud.

We have stayed at South Fleetwood many times, but on our most recent trip, our reservations (paid in full) were cancelled! And we were told there was no other unit on the property, so we were left to fend for ourselves. Then we were told there was availability on Tuesday. We moved into a unit that day, but then were asked to leave the next afternoon because actually someone else had rented that unit. Again, we were on our own. We were promised a free future trip to make up for these mistakes, but then the manager changed her mind. My husband and I will never stay here again, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Everything was fantastic - except having to stop first at another site to pick up the key. It would be much easier to have a lock box. It took a while to get a taxi from the key pick up location, because the shuttle only shuttles guests from airport to key pick up site.

Wonderful, but not for those looking for luxury

Amazing location and wonderfully comfortable property. Think of this as an house rental and you will be happy. Cleaning lady was exceptionally helpful and kind. Lots of room and perfect for sharing with our young adult, just post university, sons, who could walk to the nightlife. We all walked everywhere and loved the convenience. This is not an elegant or prestigious place, but the epitome of casual comfort.

This property was disgusting. Roaches everywhere, ants everywhere, bed was dirty and had roaches under it. There was roaches in the bathroom. It was a roach party. We were told we were getting a new room- that didn't happen. I tried speaking with manager "Debbie"- conversation got disconnected and she rudely ignore my calls. She's also not willing to do partial refund after what we had to experience. We were also told that we could use a gym, which is non existent, website speaks of a "spa" that was also not provided. By far the worse stay I've had in years. I don't know why it says "excellent" on the reviews. It's a horrible place. We were the only ones staying there , now we know why.
