The hotel room was comfortable; however, not clean. The transportation to and from the airport was excellent. Upon departure, the front desk aggressively tried to charge for the room in spite of it having been already paid in full through Hotels.com. I had to push back not to be charge double for the room. That was unacceptable.
A well-run and clean Peruvian tourist class hotel. Breakfast is included, and is as good or better than breakfast included at US business class hotels. The mattress was fine for me and good by local standards — but thin and very firm by American standards. Staff were friendly and very helpful. When I went walking on a rainy day and got mud all over my shoes, the housekeeper was kind enough to help me clean off with a hose in the garden. Restaurant had plenty of offerings and I had a great fruit salad there (in addition to breakfast each day.) I thought this was a very good value for the money.
Very nice and clean property but everything was overpriced and they charge you for everything.

Disliked: Staff & service
I made a reservation for my son via Expedia and paid for the room up front. When he arrived, he was charged the equivalent of a one night stay by the check in clerk. When he asked for an explanation he was told that it was the tourist tax and a compensation to cover for what the hotel has to pay Expedia to be listed on their site…
The vibe of the property was nice. Many Peruvian seems to stay there. Walking distance to Yarina. Breakfast was quite disappointing. Gym could use an improvement. The room had many bugs especially ants but we were used to it since we live in the jungle. Nothing major but wouldn’t mind staying here again
DO NOT STAY HERE
THEY DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO BRING YOUR OWN DRINKS TO YOUR ROOM.
Ug, there isn’t much to like about this place as a traveller.
They claimed they had problems in the past with violence, so they make their guests uncomfortable instead of dealing with the business model
The pool is awful, full of young kids and loud music. They operate as a club for families on a daily basis for five soles. So the pool is annoyingly loud.
The balconies have a stupid timer of the lights, so you have to move every ten seconds to keep the lights on.
One of the worst places I have stayed in Latin America.
OH yeah, the prices in the reception are double for what you can find online, because nobody wants to stay here, rightly so. The rooms are empty.
The manager replied so this saying I was bring in 4 cases of beer, and called it a large amount of alcohol. It was four six packs, for a weekend for two people, and it is far from the super markets.
I am glad they somewhat accommodated me, but had they mentioned their policy anywhere I would have taken my money elsewhere.
Again, the only place in the world that does this. Stop making your businesses problems your customers.
Also they had the cheek to try and charge us for the drinks we brought in.

Liked: Cleanliness
Bungalow 302 stinkt naar chloor want ligt direct aan het zwembad. Kreeg makkelijk een andere kamer, maar dat was geen bungalow.
This is a nice property. A bit off the beaten path, but easy to get around from there. The moto taxis that hang around outside the hotel are very expensive. I recommend walking down the street and getting one that doesn’t work with the hotel.
