"The hotel grounds are beautiful, and the building itself is nice. But the hotel facilities are showing its age and service is lacking, especially when considering the high rates it charges."

Very tasteful upgrades done to the entire hotel and the breakfast buffet was superb. Being able to walk to the nearby shops and restaurant is why I come back. "The dome rooms were beautiful and rustic and fit in perfectly with the natural surroundings. The interiors were clean and well appointed, with heating and cooling. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom and shower were good. You couldn’t beat the lakeside location for views and strolls along the volcanic rocky beach. We spent four nights there and could have spent way longer, exploring the beautiful surroundings. "
