Great stay. The hotel helped arrange our airport pick up. We were charged an additional fee for a third person, but before the booking we were unaware that would be the case so the extra cost wasn’t ideal considering we weren’t expecting it.

A Beautiful Hotel, A Wonderful Surprise
The hotel is strategically located in the heart of the historical zone, a stone's throw from the best museums, churches, and restaurants (the hotel restaurant is superb). The hotel is top-notch for Puebla, with amazing staff, beautiful rooms, and tranquil/upscale common visitor areas. I have traveled to Puebla at least 20 times in my life. This time, I was in town for business but did venture in and around town; this hotel was the nicest one I've stayed in the city so far. Complementary bubbly and chocolates in the evening was a nice touch.

Ideal location and beautiful hotel
Casona De Los Sapos is an ideal base for Puebla. The location is ideal, right on a street filled daily with interesting craft and antique stands and just a few beautiful blocks from the town center. Rooms are large and nicely appointed. And the in-hotel restaurant was great! We loved our breakfasts there. Strongly recommend.

Beautiful property. A bit noisy at night, you can hear loud music thumping. The bed and shower were perfect. Nice massage in spa. I wish the pool water was a little warmer. The room service food was absolutely terrible. Would not order food in the room, seriously raw papas Milanese!

Viaje con un grupo de amigas para la celebración de un cumpleaños. La Casona de Los Sapos superó nuestras expectativas! Las instalaciones son hermosas, y la decoración de súper buen gusto. Absolutely perfect! The staff is exceptionally helpful and cheerful. Our Spanish is not great and there was always someone to gladly speak to us. The food is delish too! Highly highly recommend!

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable but our main issue was that they " nickle and dime" you. Breakfast was included but I had the fruit and yogurt one day, as my entree and asked for honey. They charged me 20 MP which is about one US dollar. Ridiculous!. Another day I had an omelet. It included only one item. I did not hear the waiter tell me the extra cheese I requested would be also charged. It was an extra 45 MP or about $2.25 US.... When you are paying almost $200 a night for a room in Mexico and are staying for 5 nights, you expect much better.

The property is beautiful and is 2blocks from the central square and all the action. The staff is beyond outstanding!!!!! They even have a chef who is only the tenth 25 year old to receive a Michelin award. This hotel is exceptional in every regard.

STAY!
This hotel is located in a Colonial building in the center of the historic district. I think it is better located than the so-called fancier hotels. This is closer to the center and to the restaurants and shops. The room is tremendously spacious. The linens soft. The amenities provided are by L'occitane. The staff is sooooo friendly and helpful.

Mariel the front desk agent was very friendly and she was able to communicate with me at all times prior to our arrival during the arrival, there was a misunderstanding and she immediately follow up with us. Victor the bell man was also super nice, Javier our morning server was fast and very genuine with all my dietary needs and allergies. Sadly the experience at Miazal was great even though they accommodate my needs to an extend many of the menu dishes were not available, as well as there was not a drink menu, was not upselling by the server and they rushed us to make a decision on our dinner options because kitchen was closing at 9:30pm.

Great Hotel and Staff
Very Clean, Friendly, pleasant Hotel with all the amenities as well as Excellent Resturant with great food. This definenitly the place to stay for a quiet relaxed stay. The Hotel staff is very accommodating. It is almost central to the Historic Downtown.

Great and beautiful hotel, very attentive and polite staff, excellent location for visiting Puebla. Just go, you won't regret it. We had to leave early morning and they where up and waiting for us. They had coffee and freshly baked bread (from their own bakery) ready for us for the road. It really was an amazing experience.
