If you are looking for a super affordable option for a solid 4 stars almost in core downtown Puebla this is your option. Distance: Is convenientely located just steps from a couple of the main avenues and only a 10-15 mins walk to the main plaza (Cathedral etC) in Puebla city downtown. Hotel: Rooms are in agreement with the description they are not fancy yet comfortable, they have the services you might need for a short trip, love the idea they have multiple electrical outlets and usb ports for your devices, they have an in room refrigerator with basics at really afordable prices. Bathroom and shower are small but again you are not paying resort prices, this is a boutique hotel. Restaurant: We only did breakfast there, it was convenient, good taste, and reasonable efficient (we wait a little bit cause they got a massive group that morning). However you're walking distance from one of the best options for breakfast in the city "Casa Reyna". Facilities: The hotel is clean, the decoration is consistent with the concept, if anything I'd like to criticize is the lighthing arrangements in the hallways. They are set to be activated by motion sensors and those are set so far away from each other so you kind of walk in the dark (happened on my floor, 2nd floor) nothing major but a detail I'd fix. My only real complain was my room location, great view, amazing yet being on the 2nd floor in the corner of two avenues was a tad noisy. In a nutshell a great deal for your $

It is a nice and fancy looking hotel, but be aware, they want to make a business out of your stay. They charge for any request: parking, extra hour for check out, etc. It is a cool hotel but the staff look bored and I unengaged with their job.

The only problem that I have is the WIFI connection. I stayed on the 4th floor and the wifi connection is so spotty. The rest, it was a great experience!

I was a perfect stay is really close to downtown,very safe,very clean it has a Viejo cafe restaurant which is really good I really recommend it that's my second time staying in the hotel and I love it

Me parece que la relación calidad precio es inadecuada. Tuvieron que cambiarme de habitación porque la que me asignaron inicialmente tenía las sábanas, almohadas y el cubre colchón sucio, no funcionaba una lámpara, las toallas estaban todas rotas de las orillas, se veían viejas y percudidas. En la habitación a la que me cambiaron las toallas estaban igual y tuve que pedir nuevamente que me las cambiaran. La televisión solo tiene canales de TV abierta y las puertas no se les puede poner bien el seguro. La ubicación es muy buena y eso ayuda pero creo hay mejores opciones.

Located only a couple of blocks away from the center of town. Restaurants also located near by. Hotel has a beautiful restaurant but did not get to try it. Very clean, safe and with great staff

Great place and location with great customer service; however, the WiFi didn't work during the three nights I stayed there. This place doesn't even offer WiFi in lobby area. I had to visit the coffee shop inside the hotel to buy a coffee and pastry to have access to WiFi. I was working during this trip; having access to WiFi was essential. I recommend hotel leadership to invest in WiFi connectivity even if for a fee. I feel customers would not mind paying.

Wonderful room overlooking the historic district of Puebla with breathtaking views of Iztaccihautl and Popocatépetl. Friendly helpful staff and convenient on site café. We really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms are pretty small. Wouldn’t recommend for long stays. Our bathroom door wouldn’t lock and the AC didn’t give us an option to adjust the temp. The location is great and it was clean. I’d stay again if they provide a discount and need to stay overnight within that area.

Confortable room with good view of the city. The noise of the city was present but I kind of like that. Close to everything and you have a mall across the street. If your a lite sleeper play some rain sounds or music to sleep because the traffic on the busy main road will keep you up. Food was good, Staff was wonderful! Had a great stay!

the bathroom door, is not label of wish way is to be open, and once you inside, it is very hard to close, no room to close it, once you inside, the bathroom has three nobs, but they are no label, my companion got shower with cold water, the people at the reception were not very welcome in, one in particular the girl that work at night time, not very friendly

Me encanto la ubicación y mi habitación tenía una vista increíble. Les recomendaría poner una mesita y unas sillas quizás en el balcón que tiene de cristal para al menos disfrutar de Room service y observar el atardecer que se ve espectacular. De mi viejo café el restaurante no probé más que el café moka pero la verdad no fue muy bueno, ojalá que mejoren su sabor. El lugar es lindo, el area de la chimenea es muy Agradable y bonita. Su staff es amable y definitivamente voy a volver.

Buenas Tardes! Lamentamos que su experiencia no haya sido satisfactoria, le ofrecemos una disculpa de antemano. En ocasiones por ocupación alta no es posible ofrecer el plus de acceso a habitaciones antes de las 3 de la tarde, en caso de hacerlo dependiendo la hora, se cobra media renta por política en los hoteles. La tarifa del estacionamiento es única por día, por vehículo y no por toda la estancia. Seguimos al pendiente de sus comentarios.

Pro: Hotel appearence is beautiful and the rooms are well designed and layout makes the rooms feel mordern and comfortable. Con: HORRIBLE customer service/hospitality both on the phone and in person. We booked two rooms (with Terrece and exterior) listed on Orbitz and when we got to our rooms we were given standard rooms. When we approached the young lady at the front desk ("karny") she was shockingly rude (in spanish) and stated "Expedia has the wrong rooms listed on the website, there is nothing she can do." As for the "VIP Access" perk (free valet parking) she flat out said "No." I spent over 3 hours on the phone with Expedia/Orbitz to help with a resoultion and the end result is they too stated the hotel personal were rude and hung up on them- so I was given no resoultion or direct explanation from either party. Beware that the room you select may not be the room you are given with no direct explantion to why. In conclusion, I won't stay at the Hotel Ikonic again. I hope the Expedia/Orbitz Team is fairly taking not of this "bait and switch" practice the hotel has executed and the incredibly problematic staff that works there.
