This was a very enjoyable place to stay. The cabins are comfortable and nicely appointed. The staff bent over backwards to help with anything I needed. The service at the restaurant was stupendous, and the food was outstanding. A shout out to the very amenable staff, especially to Sebastian, and Julio for making my stay comfortable and providing a pleasant smile to start my day. The location is very close to the Iguazu Falls, making it very convenient as well.

It’s a series of standalone cabins, which was nice. In winter (August), it was cold and the heating unit in one of the rooms didn’t work well. Also, the shower was very primitive and uninviting. But good for those who are not too picky. Dinner priced a bit high. Staff friendly and friendly , with good English.

Very courteous staff and great services. Location 10 min away by taxi from city center. On site restaurant has fine dining. We had dinner twice and loved it. Enjoyed our stay

This place was really special. You can tell that each lodge was created, decorated, and managed with care. We were so comfortable there. The staff members were so proactive and kind. They helped us so much with transportation, translations, local recommendations, everything! The hotel restaurant is a must! Everything we had there was delicious.

This property is absolutely beautiful! We did not want to leave!! The environment is so natural and authentic. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating! The villa is lovely and has everything you need including your own mate and bombilla. Right next door there is an animal reserve called Guiroga. The grounds are lovely to explore!

From the moment we arrived until we left the stuff was exceptional! We were treated like royalties. I don’t remember the last time we had such a good food. I have to mention Carlos and Sabrina for their amazing service and stuff at the front desk. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful property

Beautiful property nestled in a mini forest...we did not see any wild animals but the property was Beautiful. Staff is very friendly and always trying to make sure our stay is comfortable. Restaurant has limited vegan options for dinner but breakfast had decent vegan options.

There are no words to describe Overo Lodge & Selva. It is simply breathtaking. There are walkways for you to stroll around the property and an area where they do a Bonfire and Mate presentation. The breakfast is delicious and filling. Room service is also offered for dinner, we had the Ribeye, chicken, jungle salad and gnocchi. All were great! Not only is this a great place due to its beauty and distance from the National park of Iguazu but everyone working there is amazing. We were met with such kindness every day. The staff is friendly, approachable and go beyond to make you feel at home. A definite must if visiting Iguazu. I hope to return in the future.

Really Amazing Stay - Bathroom Could Be Better

Our stay at Overo Lodge was amazing. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is fun. There is a nature walk on the grounds. You get access to the animal sanctuary next door. The lodge itself was beautiful and fully equipped. It had a kitchen and we were able to cook meals. There is an upstairs section with two twin beds. The main bed is super comfortable. The AC works really well - almost too cold, but perfect after coming back from a hot and humid day exploring. The living room is super comfy with good access to TV and a superb internet connection. The staff are amazing, too. Front desk was always there to help and answer questions. They even let us check in pretty early and greeted us with welcome drinks. They were really communicative before our arrival - willing to set up travel from the airport and more. They even leave treats each day you stay. Breakfast was ace. You have a menu that you turn in the day before and they bring whatever you requested the next morning at the time you request. Everything is super fresh and cooked perfectly. The chipas were yummy and they even have champagne you can order to make mimosas. My only issue was the bathroom. It was dated. The hot and cold water taps on the shower were switched, so I didn't take a hot shower the first night and had to request help from the staff to figure out the issue. And finally, the toilets are not great and ours wasn't filling completely filling and we had to figure that out. If they fix that, it is perfect.

Overo lodge and Selva was amazing! 5 stars on everything! The staff was so friendly and attentive, they anticipated everything we needed for our visit to Iguazu Falls, arranged our transportation to and from the airport and park, our driver Ramon was always there when we needed him. I can't say enough about the fantastic restaurant and entire staff at the lodge. They were fantastic from check in to check out! Perfecto!

We had a lovely stay and the staff were super helpful from arrival to departure. Excellent restaurant and nice little touches both at breakfast and dinner! I would say the lodges are rustic but equipped with lovely toiletries, Nespresso machine and fully fitted kitchen facilities. Overall a great stay and highly recommended.

A little paradise in Iguazú

We had the absolute best time at Overo!!! From the moment we arrived and how we were greeted with glasses of papaya juice to the amazing breakfast and dinner menus!! The villa was such a relaxing experience ! Love the kitchen and the welcome treats they surprised us with. I would highly recommend this hotel. We were only there 2 nights but felt like it was a much needed getaway. The personnel were super friendly and helpful. We honestly felt like we were taken care of the entire stay. I would recommend eating at the restaurant - the food was amazing - make sure to order dessert too. Our girls loved it and honestly we would go back in a heartbeat.

Definitivamente una de las estadías que mas disfruté, especialmente por el trato de su personal. El lugar es EXCELENTE, en el medio de la selva y una perfecta ambientación donde se nota mucho el respeto por el entorno ambiental. Es verdad que no esta exactamente cerca del centro, pero estrategicamente ubicado para ir al parque (lado argentino), y para suplir eso, el hotel ofrece alternativas todos los dias: yoga, fogones, degustaciones de yerba mate. Pero lo que realmente hizo la diferencia, y lo que me convenció de querer volver, es el excelente trato de los profesionales que trabajan para Overo: Sebastian, Ian, Micaela, Carlos, Jose y Sabrina, GRACIAS cada uno de ustedes por hacernos pasar unos dias increibles, realmente la diferencia la marcaron ustedes con su buen trato, amabilidad, respeto, atencion a cada detalle y buenisima predisposicion. Hicieron de nuestro viaje un viaje especial. Nota aparte para Ramón: Cuando consulté al hotel por un servicio de transfer, me asignaron a Ramón, quien no solo nos llevo y nos trajo a todas partes, sino que tambien con sus recomendaciones, buena onda y disponibilidad casi total, hizo que disfrutemos aún mas de la estadía y fue un complemento perfecto para nuestro viaje. Sin dudas voy a volver a Overo cuando pueda, y espero encontrarme a las mismas caras en la recepcion y el restaurante (que por cierto tiene un nivel espectacular, todo de primera)

Wonderful spot

We had 3 delightful nights at Overo Lodge as part of a trip to see the falls. The facilities are first rate, the restaurant OUTSTANDING in terms of the food, the presentation, and the service. Getting to select one's breakfast from myriad options the night before was good fun. Extensive use of WhatsApp to communicate in Spanish or English with staff in advance of stay and while we were there. Highly recommend!
