Monkeys, etc. are all part of the stay there, with a beautiful beach mere steps away. The staff, service and food were wonderful. Hot breakfasts are served every morning and a beautiful pool and 2 jacuzzis are the center point of relaxation."

"This was a good pic. One of the few hostels in front of the beach at Playa Cocles. Walking distance to public beaches, restaurants and stores. The staff was friendly. Food was somewhat pricey, though. However, the room was clean and a good value for what we paid for."

"The staff were wonderful to is- Thanks to Leo, Laura, Oscar, Denise, Diana, and many more! Massage with Michelle was also great and so reasonable. The property has a guard that is there in the evening and helped us get on our way with fresh fruit and banana bread the kitchen prepared for us for our early departure at 5 am! Was close to Puerto Viejo’s busy area but nice to be away from the hustle of that. Enjoyed being able to retire to a quiet space with a restaurant that included breakfast and options for lunch and dinner too! "

"Beautiful resort style hotel in the middle of the jungle, yet close enough to restaurants in town and the beach. It has its own private parking lot. Lobby is very nice and sheltered from the rain. Staff communicates everything you need to know and is very friendly. The welcome drinks were a nice touch. The pool is beautiful and clean. The bar is spacious and it seems there is something for everyone, even the kiddos. Our double twin room was spacious and clean. I only wish it had a bedside lamp and a table and chair in the room, but that's me just being nit picky. Breakfast in the morning was great and staff was fun and helpful. I'll be returning."

"Everything about this property is wonderful. We cannot say enough about the hotel staff! Literally, EVERYTHING was great. We highly recommend this place. Take the little plane to the Limon airport and just have them set up your transportation. They'll have someone waiting for you. We had zero problems. Everything went as smooth as possible because of the Awa staff! We will return to the Caribbean coast of Punta Cana and most definitely stay at the Awa Beach Hotel again! I'd give them 10 stars if i could! The roim was spotless, the beach was great. Rhe included breakfast was wonderful.... "
