All the staff were amazing. Our host Eva is to be commended for, her attention to details and making sure we had everything we needed. Only downside were a few ants in the bathroom area. I'm sure this is probably unavoidable given that nature does it thing in the Galapogas!

Mixed feelings. Beautiful beach, nice rooms, good breakfast. Very clean. A lady who spoke english was very nice and helpful. One thing that spoiled the experience: laundry service returned clothes soaking wet and missing two tshirts. There were hours without light and water, but that was because of the reasons not depending on the hotel.

Great place to stay on the beach with low prices. The only negative was no coffee before 7am which is tough when going to yours prior but other then this a wonderful place to stay

Good place to stay
Is a small hotel and the price is a little high but is because Isabela Island is the most expensive Island in Galapagos but in my opinion is the best Island and worth it. The beach in front of the hotel was amazing specially in the mornings when the water goes down. Also the best thing about the hotel is the kindness of the people specially Jimmy the owner, he help us with all the info before our trip and also he arranged our transportation from Baltra to Isabela, also he book our paid tours in the island (the best is the tunnels tour). The internet conection sucks but is not something about the hotel, in general the internet connection in galápagos.

We had a warm welcome from Juan, he took time to explain all the Island and hotel had to offer. The room was clean and by far the most comfortable bed and pillows we had during our trip. The beach was steps away. A great place to stay!

Comfortable stay
Room was comfortable. Hotel staff helped us to arrange for snorkeling and ferry, provided information about island. Breakfast starts at 7 AM, but many activities starts at 7 AM as well. We asked for breakfast at 6:40AM, and front desk person promised that it will be ready. Next morning breakfast was not ready. Please, put this into consideration if you are planning early morning activities. Hotel is located relatively close to ferry station, but hotel charge for transfer. Consider the cost of this hotel transfer should be included.

Go with the flow
This hotel is one of the best on the island. Amy and her team are great and will go out of their way to meet your needs. Remember this is an island and sometimes they run out of things. Go with the flow,because this place is great. Remember to treat everyone with respect.

The perfect place to stay while in Isabella
Everything about my stay was first rate. I am very particular and well traveled. My expectations are high and they were greatly exceeded. Not only is everything in working order, clean, great beach location but The staff is 5 Star! Juan who is the property manager is an excellent resource while in Isabella. In the 100+ properties I have visited, his Passion to help goes well beyond his job responsibility. This gentleman truly wants all of his guests to feel like family. Thank you Juan for the personal attention you give all your guests. Also a shout out to Amy who manages breakfast. Her lovely smile and easy way made breakfast peaceful and did I mention the food was delicious. A repeat visit is definitely in the future. If you’re going to Isabella you will not find a better value or accommodations. Next year I will be bringing my entire family to this property.

The hotel was perfectly located walking distance to the ferry and downtown restaurants and amenities. We had a beautiful room on the beach with gorgeous view of sea. The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful. They arranged fantastic day tours for us. Breakfast was plentiful, healthy and delicious. On Valentine's Day (our anniversary!) the cook prepared an amazing romantic dinner for us and our table was beautifully decorated. Staying at the Isamar Hotel was a highlight of our trip to the Galapagos. We highly recommend the Isamar Hotel.

Perfect spot!

Beautiful patio over looking the ocean. Great a/c that just took a few minutes to cool off. Walk all over town. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Really nice stay and this was the most expensive hotel for my 2-week stay in Galapagos (traveling on a budget). It's branded as a luxury and it's not quite luxury, but it is very nice. I was there just before the high season started (mid-December) and got lucky to get one of the 3 rooms with ocean view - without paying that extra fee for ocean view. Spacious rooms with everything you need, water is already in your room and 2 places to refill. AC is strong but it's nice to leave the big glass door open with the screen closed for the ocean breeze and sounds. The reception and breakfast area is about 3 minutes away walking across the street. Breakfast was excellent and a great way to start the day (yogurt, fresh juice, coffee, eggs to order, etc). The beach in front is nice and there are two lounge chairs to use and lots of chairs on the deck to use. Again, for the price, I can't give it full 5 stars (no pool), but if you can afford it, this is a great choice in Villamil.

First time came in Galapogos and Isabela Island. Hotel manager JUAN gave us excellent support while we are staying. Location is beach front and patio facility is excellent to enjoy beach access. Breakfast is served with various fruits and nice food and Anton as server gave us excellent hospitality while we are staying. Room is very clean and nice to stay for relaxation after our work.

Serrano, the hotel manager, was such a friendly and welcoming face when I arrived on Isabela Island. He offered me help in organizing my three day trip on the island and upgraded me to a waterfront room. The room was big, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel is in the perfect location - 10 minutes from the pier and a 2 minute walk to restaurants. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful with great water to swim in and there are chairs and lounge chairs to relax on. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the island - great staff, great location, and a relaxed/laid back vibe.

A hidden gem
Our experience at Isa Mar Hotel was the best out of all the hotels we stayed at in the Galápagos. Great location, big, beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast, and a very accommodating manager. We were even able to have a late check-out after our snorkel trip to Los Tuneles. The hotel is right on the beach (which is gorgeous with very few people) with a convenient outdoor shower. Great experience at this hotel!

In Spite of various mails confirming our stay at the hotel, when we arrived they said that they could not receive us and sent us to another hotel. In other reveiws I had read about a similar experience, which is why I sent various mails to confirm the registration, all of them answered Bay the hotel confirming our reservation.

Sorry for this problem but as we explained you at the moment of your arrival we had a problem with our room, it was because of the weather during the season but you were provided with a master suite in one of the best hotels in the island with higher cost better rooms same service, this problem was very bad for us but we tried to give you better services providing you an upgrade with lots of nicer things and higher price of which you actually paid, once more I apologize with you for taking care of you as we did

Beachside and beautiful, at the end of town.
The rooms are lovely, and the beach is right there. The office is down the street as is the breakfast, there is no actual restaurant. It was just far away enough that we felt a little alone. If you need something, you have to walk down the street, rain or shine. Our room was large, comfortable, with good air conditioning, towels for both the shower and the beach, very nice. It is not far from town, just a short walk, but on the rainy night you wished for a restaurant.

Hotel was okay.
The hotel was okay but far from luxury. The staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. The TV did not work and there was not any WiFi. The manager said they were coming to fix it in the morning but that never happened. This made for a very boring experience in the room since there was not much to do on the island. The ocean view was a little misrepresented in the description and the lobby is not connected to the rooms so you have to walk down the street. There is not a restaurant on site but they do serve a light breakfast. I had to request clean towels even though I called about this the night before. In addition, you have to use bottled water to brush your teeth, however, this is not the hotels fault.

Beautiful Hotel
We had a great stay at Isa Mar. The manager, Juan, was very attentive to any needs we had. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel is located on a beautiful beach, and is an easy walk to the Port and to the town. The hotel works closely with a local tour group, Pahoehoe, who we also recommend.

Great hotel - right on the water
This is a very nice hotel. The staff was very attentive, and new owner seems especially concerned to make sure all guests are happy. the staff and owner also speak English, which was very helpful for us. We traveled with our baby, and we all enjoyed our stay. The owner is also working on a new restaurant that sounds amazing!

Great Experience
It was an amazing experience staying with Isabella lodge. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable, breakfast is delicious, and the private beach view is priceless. All the staff are super friendly, especially Maria, she is such a sweetheart, she helped us so much during our stay. We were leaving very early in the morning to catch the 5:30am in the last day, Maria packed breakfast for us the night before and sent to our room. Just cant say enough good things about this place.

El hotel está dividido entre las habitaciones y el área administrativa, el comedor no está junto a las habitaciones sino en otro lado, es cercano y el desayuno es bueno. Creo que el costo es demasiado alto para lo que se recibe, la habitación es pequeña, no tiene los metros cuadrados declarados. La oferta de camas debe corresponder según la cantidad de personas, me parece que las camas (una Queen y una personal) es muy poco para 3 adultos y un niño de 5 años. El equipo de servicio siempre trata de ayudarte en lo que puede. Si pagas con tarjeta de crédito te cobran un 5% adicional.

Die beste Lage auf Isabela, direkt am Strand. Sehr saubere Zimmer, schöne Einrichtung, einfach traumhaft. Der Besitzer ist sehr hilfsbereit und stets bemüht alle Wünsche der Gäste zu erfüllen. Er hat uns bei Organisieren der Ausflüge sehr geholfen und wertvolle Tipps gegeben.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft am traumhaften Strand
Die geräumigen Zimmer befinden sich direkt am wunderschönen Sandstrand, wenige Meter von der Rezeption bzw dem Frühstücksraum entfernt. Das Personal ist allesamt freundlich 6nd ausgesprochen hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um die traumhafte Insel Isabela zu erkunden - weit genug weg vom Trubel und trotzdem sehr zentral. Absolut empfehlenswert!!

prestations de qualité, sur la plage
Nous étions 3 (parents + jeune de 18 ans) dans une chambre familiale. Le jeune gérant, qui parle couramment français, est très dynamique et attentionné. L'hotel est parfaitement tenu, très propre et très bien situé. Petit déjeuner buffet bien fourni et bon. Allez-y sans hésiter !

Hotel incumplidor
Lamentablemente no pudimos alojarnos allí porque nunca recibieron la confirmación dela reserva por cambio de dueño. No había lugar y nos fuimos a otro hotel de nombre cally que es resultó excelente. Es muy criticable del hotel Isabela que no cumplan con las reservas hechas por esta página.
