Hotel Elliott
10/10 Excellent
"Very convenient location in the middle of downtown. Staff were extremely friendly. The room was very clean. The bar wasn’t open while we were there, but we were able to buy a bottle of wine and go up to the rooftop bar. Enjoyed the stay."
Bowline Hotel
8/10 Good
"The good. Location: It’s right in the water and close to downtown. The view is spectacular, and it’s within walking distance to the fun shops and restaurants. The walk along the peer is lovely. Amenities: The coffee in the room is really good. By far the best coffee I’ve had in a hotel in the US. There is also cream in the fridge and brown sugar cubes in a cute dish. There is a fridge and a separate freezer which is always a bonus. You can cast from your phone to the t.v. Which is perfect There’s also a wireless phone charger in the room and that saved me. The bad. The Bed: I cannot stress enough how awful that bed is. It is so soft you become enveloped in fluff and there doesn’t seem to be a bottom. There is no support. Each night I was there I had to get up 3-4 times to stretch and move. I love a soft bed, but this was overkill. I’ve never slept on something so uncomfortable in my life. The noise: It isn’t the sea lions. It’s the walls that are so thin I could hear the conversations and alarm clocks of my neighbors and the CONSTANT slamming doors. The doors slam so hard the walls shake. They slam shockingly hard. The room wasn’t super clean. The rug was disgusting. There were sticky stains and filth on it. They obviously don’t launder or spot clean the rugs in the rooms. That was really gross. There were hairs from “down there” in the shower and the sink was clogged. The corners of the room weren’t swept and there were dead flies on the floor."
Lloyd Hotel Astoria Bayfront, an Ascend Collection Hotel

"Loved the complimentary chowder at 5:00! What a great added touch! Rooms were a little tired, due for an upgrade. View of the water was very nice! The location was great for us as we explored the area."
Norblad Hotel

"Great rooms!"
Best Western Columbia River Waterfront Hotel Astoria
8/10 Good
"Great stay overall, however, the coffee in the morning was not hot even arriving early for breakfast, the scrambled eggs were watery, and the biscuits and gravy should be kept at a warmer temperature. Barely warm. Otherwise it was a decent continental breakfast. Good variety."
Quality Inn & Suites Longview Kelso
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was nice, the staff was friendly and quite helpful. They only have 1 washer and dryer and someone took my clothes out before the time was up so I wasn’t happy about that but it wasn’t the hotels fault. Another set would be helpful. Room was clean and our bed was super comfy! Great ac too!"
