The property is huge. Too many swimming pool areas options, not crowded . The beach view was nice , but didn’t enjoy it due to Lots of seaweeds. A lot of food options and nice restaurant. The resort is clean and well kept. Our room was spacious, perfect size with 2 kids.

Beautiful property. Room we were in needs some attention as our door off the master suite didn’t lock and the door to the bathroom was extremely difficult to close. Set up was great for a family of 4. Staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Food at the buffet was ok but often cold and definitely not great if you have picky eaters. Overall a nice all inclusive.

The staff was amazing and extremely helpful. The food was a little disappointing, the food was cold and there was not a variety, same food each night for dinner. The seaweed was also disappointing, we could not enjoy the beach or go in the ocean and the smell was terrible. The pool was very clean and well kept and the service at the swim up bar was spot on. I would definitely recommend The Palace to my friends and family.

All around this property provides everything! Restaurants, shows, pools, games, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend! Only problem was air conditioner was not working properly in one of our rooms and the seaweed took over beach through no fault of hotel. I think July-September seaweed comes each year. However, seaweed did not interrupt the awesome time we had during our stay.

This was an okay stay. Pros: - Beautiful grounds - Lots to do there - Kids club until midnight a plus. Cons: - Activities not advertised - Most staff encounters were unhelpful - Obviously biased to folks who spoke Spanish. - The food was 6/10. - Reservations were not honored. - Roaches found in the rooms. - Floors leaked something fierce. Overall it’s not somewhere I would return to. Just an okay stay.

Everything pretty much was decent staff was top-notch some of the restaurants was good except for the Japanese it was too hot it was too hot in there no AC felt like at times and the Japanese restaurant and the food wasn't all that! but all the other restaurants are four five stars only thing is that the floor sometimes felt slippery due to the humidity need to work on that

Great resort with lots of activities. The bathrooms lack privacy so for a family of four it takes some planning around showers and the door has a direct view of whomever is showering. Just went here on a family trip with 18 members and it was difficult to get us all seated but that’s expected with a big group. Just make sure you get reservations for the restaurants as soon as you get there. The buffet always has different options so you’re bound to find something you like. We definitely went during peak season but yet it all worked out. Their weekend shows are pretty good. Just be ready to get your steps in from the rooms to the main area, which after overindulging in the buffet, is not a bad idea.

Check in took like 3 hours and they weren't very pleasant. Not many staff and bartenders understood English. It was hard to get restaurant reservations and they don't accept walk ins. Buffet food was not that great the only good meal we enjoyed was the last night hibachi. My husband got food poisoning and was sick 2 days. We made the best of it as a family but don't plan in returning to this resort if I ever decide to go to DR again.

We went on a family vacation. The pools were beautiful, the beach was nice (seaweed time unfortunately so didn’t go much. The bars around the pool were very good. Ocean activity looked fun but traveling with a little guy we couldn’t do. Staff in buffet were not friendly and if you asked a question seemed like you inconvenienced them. Struggled to get water or drinks served at the buffets, often had to search for someone even though they were all standing around. Food was ok at best bust expected that at the buffets. We had two good experiences at the two restaurants we mad reservations for. Make reservations immediately when you get there as the time slots fill quick.

The family rooms are very spacious. It is nice to have 4 beds. The jacuzzi outside is great to have, we enjoyed it daily. Something which is definitely missing is a snack bar/pool bar. There are no food options around the beach/pool or waterparks. No coffee shop, no ice cream shop either. Never had this before at any resort. Activity program was also not so great. Not much they do for the kids or adults. The waterpark is good to have, but if you aren’t premium, you will have to pay daily. Definitely missed some good foam parties, games etc. also music. The resort is huge. Spa was nice. My massage was ok, not great tho. Buffet food wasn’t great, not much flavor. The evening restaurants were good. All in all it was a nice hotel, but wouldn’t go back.

The place is big and with lots of amenities. A trolley to move you around the complex that will also take you to the more quiet Bávaro Beach resort right next door. You can enjoy the pools and buffet restaurants on both resorts. Family oriented with a little water park with slides and wave pool. Daycare, kiddie water park. Lots o big pools and restaurants(walk-in buffet or dine-in->reservation req'd). The food is ok, but it could be better if they want to increase their score. The check-in process is disorganized. They should label the front desk with signs that read check-in & check-out and assign number tickets for each line. Everybody would be happier and it makes it fair to everyone. The process takes too long. I recommend the Hibachi and the steak restaurants. In summer months April-October the beach is dirty with sargassum, but if you go in the winter the water is turquoise clear. Lots of alcohol and food, casino, nice nightclub, big theater with nightly show. Includes all drinks brought to you or picked you everywhere because they have open bars everywhere. I recommend it.
