Given all of the negative reviews we were very concerned for this trip. However, our experience was excellent, we stayed in the adults only section, check in was extremely easy, staff is very accommodating if you ask! Overall we had a very relaxing vacation and experience with this property.

Food was excellent, staff was very nice and helpful, facility was great and clean, the guys on the beach work tirelessly to clean up the seaweed, rooms and beds were great. Prompt service at check-in and checkout. Only complaint was a lack of hot water in the shower. We would definitely go back, just recommend checking the shower temperature before unpacking our bags next time.

Rooms were nice. Beach was decent. Good service. Great nightime beach with good lighting and 24 hour bar. Very rare. food was good but a little more selection would be nice. Nice staff. the only thing I longed for was a small washcloth/ Facecloths. I will definitely go back! Great quality for price.

The hotel staff is so friendly always ready to serve The hotel looks nice but little dark at night specially for older people . the food terrible !!! I got sick and had to be hospitalized and of course I paid the price I will not recommend this hotel to no body

The property was just ok, room was just ok, food was just ok. Some of the staff was rude, cleaning lady let a stranger into our room. Dining options not great, bed was horribly uncomfortable, not enough pool or beach chairs. Elevator was broke the entire time we were there. We did have a couple of great staff members however, made the trip a little better.

Jorge was great. In terms of the amenities, food and other offerings it was mediocre. I would also take precaution to your belongings at ALL times. $70 USD was stolen from my hotel room by the cleaning staff and all that your staff did was interview the woman to deny it.

Be Live relocated us to another hotel due to construction. We were supposed to have equivalent accommodations and did not. The hotel we were placed with also did not have any record of the reservation from Be Live, even though I had checked with them by message 4-6 times to confirm.

I never got to stay at the be live property . The be live property was closed and my reservation was moved to the jewel palm beach . The jewel palm beach was a very nice hotel however I did not receive the accommodation s that I paid for . I paid for a junior suite with beach walk out . I was placed in a standard with with no view !!

Good, but not real DR food taste and cats.

Hotel its good, walk short distance everywhere. Better if you use vip/adult area. Personel work like they don't want to be there. Food and drinks on buffet they don't have a taste as a real dominican food. We had to go out of the hotel to a food station to have real dominican food. We used one of the reserve seafood restaurant and it was better "the lobster". Some times the personel trying to sell time share can be anoying. They assigned a butler, but we only saw him once the second day. If your scare of cats, like my wife, you can see a couple inside of the hotel and this is not the only hotel in DR that I have seen cats inside.

DO NOT STAY HERE I would only recommend this place if you don’t care about having good food and just want a cheap beach trip. Staff is horrible and hit on us the entire trip, food is horrible, watered down drinks, only two types of watered down wine, no ac in the buffets, beds are so uncomfortable!!!! They don’t tell you that if you stay for 5 nights you are only allowed to make dinner reservations for 2 nights. Have to eat all meals at the buffet. Do not ever eat at the lobster restaurant! The food is inedible!! Only allowed 1 beach towel per person. There was a blow up water slide at the main pool with a frayed electrical cord My friend stepped on the cord and it electrocuted her!!!!! Seriously not a safe resort!!! Management did nothing about it.

Was worse resort ever would not recommend to anyone!!! we paid for VIP and were always at the kids pool because of lack of chairs at pool and beach!! we didnt recieve anything in our room as told. Butler,robe and slipper,bottle of champagne. We laked towels had to ask everyday for towels and beer in our fridge. Our phone didnt work all week and no one repaired it so couldnt get room service or any kind of service. Wer told reservations were not necessary for VIP at the alacarte restaurants which was not true. Made reservations and when we got to restaurant couldnt fond it!! Service in buffet was terrible waited half an hour just for coffee at Breakfast and if we got up to get food our tables would be cleared right away!!! There were no cups in our room for drinks and told them but didnt resolve anything!! People were very rude at front desk and not willing to help regarding our issues at all!!! would never go back here and dont advertise this place for VIP because dont get treated any different even though we paid extra for it. It was a very stressful vacation!!!

I felt the property was very nice! You could tell they keep it up very well. The resort was very clean, workers nice with a smile and wonderful beach area. I thought it was nice that they had a seaweed boom in water, to keep seaweed away from beach. They did have vendors on beach selling excursions, massages, cigars, souvenirs and other items. Resort security kept them off of property. The vendors were friendly, not hounding, so they did not ruin our beach time. The food was average to above average. We did not feel any of our meals were fantastic. The alcoholic drinks were about the same. Some of our bartenders were good but I was surprised that at least half of them could not understand simple drink instructions (like vodka, seltzer or tonic water and a splash of cranberry). On multiple occasions I had to tell them one ingredient at a time and walk them through it to make it correctly. You have a butler assigned to you to tell you about property, assist getting reservations to the specialty restaurants and such. You could keep in contact with them on "WhatsApp", so they didn't have to look for you and you didn't have to look for them. Only complaint was our butler didn't answer in timely manner. We would text a question at 2pm and he either would not answer at all or answer following day. It was frustrating to chase down answers yourself, when that was what he was suppose to do. Overall I would still recommend this resort. We had a great time there.

This was my first time at an all inclusive and it was disappointing. This was not the relaxing beach trip I wanted. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. I spoke some spanish, they spoke some english and we were able to meet in the middle. The Room: Hotel very noisy from day to night Walls paper thin, people slamming doors; thumping feet upstairs going back n forth, woman moaning, groaning and panting loudly in next room, people using power tools at 6am??? Can hear EVERYTHING going on at Dreams Resort next door, including loud, drunken weddings/karaoke until about mid nite Every. Single. Nite. Clean room but mildew smell on the sheets/small sofa Can’t enjoy balcony because marijuana/cigar/cigarette smoke from other guests Shower good temp, but the bathtub water is cold Grounds: The food in the buffet and snack bar is amazing, great people too but not many other options between meals beside the nasty burger bar on the family side. Drinks watered down. Had an off taste to be white wine. (Like beets???) The beach is the WORST. Be prepared to be HARASSED CONSTANTLY by vendors who walk right up to you past the roped off areas and push a brochure/parrot/ monkey/enormous seashell/coconut in your face, this is all after you politely said no 10 times already from distance when they were screaming Hola Hola HOLA!!! Hey HEY LADY, AMIGA, AMIGA, HEY, AMIGA, LADY!!! No real dominican culture/feel/flavor.

The experience was not what I expected, the staff was rude the manger of the Adults only side was VERY rude before arriving to the hotel I called & spoke to a woman and she said she was a manger for the adults only side , I let her know I would arrive early so would I be able to check in early she told me it would be fine , on arrival when I explained I spoken to a manger for early check in , the staff gotten the manger , she told me I never spoke to someone and she’s the only manger for that side so basically calling me a liar , I didn’t understand how the instructions I left for the room was noted when I called for early check in but she said I never spoke to anyone , she must of forgot but instead of saying that she said no one could of told me I can check in early …. It’s gets WORSE the ice machines was not working , we had no wash cloths for a day , the staff don’t understand to much English so they wasn’t to helpful , I had to call for house keeping ALSO t had to leave towels down on the floor bcuz the floor was so slippery , my room was a swim up and the pool was not clean , no one came from the 4 nights I was there to Clean the pool , bugs , Leaves , hair . You can see the dirt floating around … There was No room service like it said it would be , the bar was not a bar it had a few bottles and a couple of juices and that was your drink nothing special , for it to be all inclusive the brand liquor you had to pay for , you have the guys with the blue shirts harassin

The bartenders were great! Elvin and Pedro by the snack bar are wonderful! Elvin always came by to make sure we had everything we needed. The housekeeper MariCruz was not friendly at all. She was no where to be found until the day we checked out (i guess she was expecting us to tip her) When we arrived there was clumps of hair in the shower drain and chewed up gum on the floor. We had to ask for wash cloths and extra towels every day.our mini bar was not restocked. We had to bring our own water back to the room. Maricruz was heard in the hallway complaining how she has 25 rooms to clean in a day. (So unprofessional) All the other housekeepers were always friendly to bad they weren't our housekeeper. Our Butler Fednon, we only saw him on the first day of check in. We never saw him again. We text him to confirm our dinner reservations but He said he had an emergency. No other butler filled in for him we missed out on reserving dinner because of him. We were told by reservationist all restaurants were booked for the week. Our master suite was spacious and a great view. The nightclub was really nice the casino was ok. The food was delicious every day. I would not say this is a 5 star. The price we paid was def. Over priced. We usually stay in the presidential suite in Secrets Cap Cana. That is 5 star. (Btw was sold out) BeLive was a good choice we had fun and enjoyed most of the staff. Regulate the ppl holding beach chairs.
