"This is the first time we have stayed here after dining several times. We just needed a one night stay with a queen bed and AC. Find AC was a challenge and we had to change rooms. Room was off of the dining area during World Cup season so was noisy for a while. Great location and very helpful staff. Rooms look awesome but typically ceiling fans."

"The grounds are expansive and absolutely beautiful. We saw monkeys, giant green macaws and toucans on the property. The location - between Playa Cocles and Playa Chiquita - is perfect. Both restaurants on the property were great - we especially loved the cocktails and ceviche at Spice House. We stayed in a two-story family villa. There was plenty of room for 3 teenaged boys and 2 adults. The bedrooms were air-conditioned and the downstairs was cool and comfortable with just the windows and fans. The staff was courteous and the breakfast delivered to our room each day was such a treat! Highly recommend this hotel to families. It would also be comfortable for seniors since there are first floor rooms and the grounds are flat and easy to get around. We loved it."

"I appreciated the silence in the night, the swimming pool, the breakfast with the best bread I had in Costa Rica, the beach right across the street, and having different sizes of pillows to choose from. Everything was stellar, save for a little detail: there was no hot water in the shower. I pointed out on the first morning, but it was the same on the next day. Fortunately, room temperature water is not too cold in Cahuita."
