"Staff were excellent, as was the breakfast. Not the hotel’s fault but there are many stray dogs in the area which although friendly enough when you walk near them spend most of the night howling or barking or fighting which made sleeping very difficult. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Kandy House. Its location outside the central area allowed us to have a tranquil and restful break from the hustle of the city. Yet, we were still within about a 10 minute drive of the Kandy Lake area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was particularly roomy. Breakfast was great, lots of food and the local menu was delicious. The road leading up to the hotel is pretty rough and our driver struggled in his little car.
