"Great rooms, immaculate, comfortable, air conditioning good when I worked out how to work it. First remote was broken but reception quickly gave me a replacement. Rooms very spacious. Good breakfast selection. They took orders for coffee, the rest was buffet. Very helpful with taxi and directions to chemist due to me being unwell. Beautiful breathtaking views from breakfast table. "Arrived at hotel and was double charged for booking (by Expedia and front office staff) at checkin. Staff/Manager apologetic and refund the difference in cash.Was initially given a car park view room with balcony over a smoking area and cigarette smell coming up from below. Was promptly given a new room overlooking the river. Excellent hotel and facilities, staff friendly and everything clean. No USB outlet in room."

"Well, didn’t expect too much of it, but it turned out to be the coziest little ‘hotel’. Family owned with a very friendly hostess. Very clean room, stunning rural breakfast and a big balcony. A real throwback in time considering the standards, but that just adds to the charm! "

On the positive side, breakfast was enjoyable with a nice view and good coffee, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s fine for a short stop to enjoy breakfast, but I would not recommend spending the night."

"Fantastic hotel with the kindest staff. The location was perfect. The room is clean and the windows were huge! We were awoken to birds chirping in the morning and were surprised to learn they were pet birds kept in cages below our window. Great hotel with easy parking, easy walking distance to the castle.
