"The hotel is a large corporate resort, so don’t expect the small personal touches you might find in a boutique property. While everything was very clean, the rooms and bathrooms are quite dated and could benefit from an update. Breakfast was a large buffet with plenty of choice, though there was no à la carte option. The Indian restaurant was very good and a highlight of our stay, while the Italian was more average. As the hotel wasn’t particularly busy, there was always plenty of space around the pool. The beach area did get much busier, though the private section was manageable — just expect sunbeds to be packed in quite closely. This hotel would suit families well, with a lively atmosphere and entertainment team (who even came through breakfast), but it’s probably not the best choice if you’re looking for a refined, adults-only style experience. Having come from an elegant boutique hotel in Valletta, this felt a little disappointing by comparison. That said, there was nothing objectively wrong with the stay — it’s just not my kind of hotel."

"There were three outdoor pools and one indoor pool with a jacuzzi and sauna. Clean facilities throughout. Staff throughout the hotel are fantastic and very helpful. Breakfast was top tier with a great variety of choice and an even greater view of the Mediterranean. Perfect location as well. Queen suite was big."

"Overall I found the hotel to be reasonable for the price. It was clean and the staff were friendly. I found the breakfast area to be a bit small for the numbers of people using it, particularly at the peak time around 9am. At that time it was hard to find a table and navigating the buffet amongst the crowds was not a pleasant experience. There were a couple of building-related issues during my stay. At one point one of the two available lifts went out of use meaning a 7-floor climb up the stairs. On another occasion a plastic piece of the aircon system in my room fell off. It was promptly repaired. Would I stay there again … maybe, I wouldn’t rule it out."

"Check in easy and polite, live piano in the lobby bar on Tues Thurs Sunday 8-11 pm, robes and complimentary bottle of red were a nice touch in our junior suite, balconies great with awesome view is the bay, and outlets were universal taking American, European, and UK charge types and maybe Australian and Asian too. Overall great spot would highly recommend."

"We had a wonderful 4 night stay! So many wonderful amenities: a hot tub and sauna, a breakfast with everything you could want, access to Aqualuna pool club across the street, comfortable beds and a quiet room! The staff were so kind and helpful. I needed to stay an extra night and even though they were fully booked, they arranged a room for me at their nearby hotel and made the transition seamless. Highly recommend!"

"A nice clean room, cleaned often throughout the stay. Great pool and facilities. Friendly helpfull staff, amazing selection of quality food at breakfast, dinner menus were great too we could not fault the place."

"The entrance to the hotel is lovely. The rooms are standard. Lack of plugs, usb charging in the telephones which took overnight to charge my phone. Soundproofing wasn't the best either, needed a room change as was woken up at 7am but a constant banging for above our room. Staff was lovely. You have access to the free sundbeds on the beach although, they don't like you taking your own food and drink there as want you to purchase from their bar. Overall ok but didn't think it was worth the price"
