I was a bit reticent to book because of all the bad reviews but our experience was way better than we expected. It is true that the hotel is a little bit dated and some renovations are needed (damages on the baseboard, some closets doors needed a little wiggle to close properly) but nothing that prevented us to have a great time there. Our room was super clean, staff was nice and made us feel really welcome. The soundproofing between the rooms are excellent, there was a party next door and we could hear them only when the door was opened. Bedding was clean, mattress in perfect condition. So in general, If you need everything to be in perfect shape to feel comfortable than yes, pick somewhere else. If you're looking for a clean and well equipped room then absolutely, go for it. FYI the elevators go up to 26th floors and there's big floor to ceiling windows from which youbhave amazing views of the château Frontenac, the river, the plaines... Not new but still awesome!

Beautiful park to walk to across the road. Old Quebec is good to walk to if you enjoy a good 10k+ walk. There is also an amazing breakfast restaurant with a 1 min walk. Nice views from the hotel too

Avis sur l’hôtel L’emplacement de l’hôtel est très bon, proche de plusieurs sites historiques de la ville de Québec et certaines chambres offrent une belle vue. Le personnel est aussi très gentil et accueillant. Cependant, les salles de bain ne sont pas modernes et la propreté pourrait être améliorée. L’hôtel n’offre pas plusieurs commodités habituelles comme des articles de toilette ou des bonnets de douche. Il n’y a pas de distributeurs d’eau et la machine à glace est seulement au quatrième étage, ce qui est peu pratique pour les étages supérieurs. Le restaurant Cochon Dingue au premier étage est assez cher et le buffet annoncé n’était pas disponible pendant mon séjour. Le stationnement est aussi un peu éloigné de l’hôtel. En résumé, c’est un hôtel bien situé, mais il peut devenir coûteux si vous cherchez une option économique.
