"Cleanliness is very good. The view of the ocean was great. The location worked well. Parking was a bit tricky to find the correct parking garage. It involves a quick right that isn't readily noticeable. GPS coordinates takes you past the correct self parking garage by 300-400 meters. I arrived on a Sunday at 3:35pm. The waiting area had about 20 people waiting to check in. The staff initially said check in is at 4pm. I asked if the room would be ready at 4pm or if more time would be required. It was then revealed the hotel had been completely booked since Thursday and maybe an additional hour to be sure the room was ready. Okay, It's a busy time of year; we had a car. We returned at 5:30pm; lobby had cleared and the room was ready. I noticed about 90 minutes later the room phone was not working. I called the hotel from my mobile number. Went through the automation promos. The phone rang 4 times and then there was a pick up and immediately human up. Happened twice. Hmm... At 9:30pm, I went to pull the covers back to find there was nothing to pull back. There was only a non-fitted sheet on the bed. I went to the front desk to request bed linen and report the phone issue. It was about an hour B4 the linens were brought to the room I recognize ocean air"s salt is damaging to materials. There were a few rusty thing in the room, lamp shade microwave and the back of the toilet. Upkeep may be as omewhat slow."

"Stayed one night due to flight cancellation upon arrival no one was at desk to check in. While waiting other guests came to desk to tell us their rooms hadn’t been cleaned for three days, cable and internet were down, no towels, and no top sheet on beds. Mind you this is my check in experience. My husband went searching for desk person bartender told him she would eventually comeback. The desk person was only staff member there and was doing everything. Place was so dark we could see room numbers and another guest helped us find room. Place looks really nice but very understaffed and I was there just to sleep. After check out I received credit card alert that they charged me 26.00 US dollars for something and all I did was sleep there and left at 5:45am to return to airport. God only knows what that’s about. I’m disputing it with credit card company. Other guests in morning said guest in adjoining rooms partied all night and the got no sleep. Price seemed high for the realities of the hotel. I only stayed there because it’s close to airport. "

"I have been a guest at the Caribe Hilton several times. My first stay there was over 20 years ago as my children were young. I still find some of the staff that worked there then. Things have definitely changed, but let’s start with the positives: dining is top notch and guest service staff as well. The beach, garden and outdoors were immaculate and breathtaking. My recent stay, however, left me wondering if I’ll return. The prices per night have skyrocketed (I dont lnow how they can legally rack up so many fees!). Our stay without food was over $900 a night. The rooms are decaying to the point that the mattress had his and hers sulci… lol! Housekeeping staff is essentially absent; I asked for towels on my second day and these never arrived. We had to take the trash to the lobby and add it to and already overflowing bin at the lobby of the Wave wing. Five hours later, we returned to the wing and the trash bin had turned into piles. Not once I was offered a room cleaning, even when I inquired about it, They said sure but no one showed up. The toiletries on the largebottles smelled rancid. The security person at the pool on day 3 of my stay was speaking on his cell phone and ranting obscenities in Spanish… not pleasant to hear and no one to supervise… the place is in skeleton crew and staff looks super overworked particularly at Nectar during morning hours. Overall, I felt as if I was staying at an overpriced air bnb. They should broadcast it as such. "
