Skyland
8/10 Good
"I thought the food was over priced in the dining hall, mostly the salad w just lettuce, not good greens."
Baymont by Wyndham Front Royal Near Shenandoah National Park

"It was wonderful as always"
DoubleTree by Hilton Front Royal Blue Ridge Shadows
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed here as a halfway point between Charlotte, NC and NY. There's a Houlihan's attached to the hotel. It was nice to not have to leave the hotel for dinner after driving all day. We were traveling with 2 teenagers so booking a room with 2 queen beds and a sofabed was perfect. The 2 queen beds were in a separate room and had a nice large flatscreen TV. The living room with the sofabed also had a nice big flatscreen TV. There was a wetbar area above the refrigerator. Nice Crabtree & Evelyn bath products and I think this was the only place I've stayed recently that included a shower cap! Also, a sewing kit, which was a nice touch. Hilton Honors members get 2 free bottle of water and cookies on check in. Thrilled there was an allergy friendly cookie option since a few of us in the family are gluten & dairy free. The town itself also had lots of stores, restaurants and a starbucks. Also, if you're stil reading... the hotel is a mere 10 minutes from Dinosaurland which is a kitschy roadside attraction well worth the stop if you're into that sort of thing or have very young kids traveling with you :)"
Hampton Inn Front Royal
10/10 Excellent
"This property is located right off the highway. It's walking distance to fast food. They served a free continental breakfast every morning. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a large party with 4 rooms, the check in and out was quick and easy."
Mimslyn Inn Historic Hotels Of America
8/10 Good
"This is an historic hotel and doesn’t appear to have been updated since its founding. The room was tiny and the bathroom poorly appointed with no where to put your things. It was hard to even move around the bed without stubbing your toe or raking your leg on the bed frame! It’s a shame as it could have been a lovely hotel! The speakeasy pub on the other hand was quite good - so stop for dinner but don’t stay there"
Days Inn by Wyndham Luray Shenandoah

"Love the pool! Pretty clean. Air condition was good."
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Culpeper

"This hotel was great. Room was clean, bright and roomy. Breakfast was good!"
Cardinal Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Room was a bit dated, but everything was in immaculate shape and EXTREMELY clean. Room and bathroom were both very large in size. We had 2 queen beds which were both very comfy. Would have liked a 3rd pillow on the beds, but 2 was fine. Pillows here are like pillows most places nowadays (small and not very stuffed). Plenty of room for luggage (and then some) with generous counter space. Great location, close to downtown area. The exterior of the property was well kept and parking is plentiful. Owner was very helpful and had turned the air on before our arrival. My only trivial disappointment was that there was no in room coffee. Not a deal breaker since it was available in the office and there is also a Shell station next door with good coffee available before the office opens in the AM. Would stay again."
Graves Mountain Farm & Lodges
8/10 Good
"Really interesting Mountain View’s and unique location. Staff was very friendly in informing us on the amenities offered and helped set us up with breakfast for our stay (which beat our expectations). Not a bad spot to lay your head down after a day exploring local parks, wineries and cideries."
