"The resort is really beautiful, with plenty of green spaces, impeccably maintained, a beautiful and clean beach, that you can reach with electric golf car shuttles that go back and forth the whole day (and the trip to the beach is scenic and relaxing). Food is outstanding, with a huge choice, excellent meat and fish and an incredible dessert selection. Finally, Sampieri is at walking distance from the beach and it is a nice trip for a lovely ice cream in the old quarters. I cannot recommend more this resort and I will certainly come back"

"We had a wonderful stay at Mare Nostrum Petit Hôtel. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the town. Enrico was an excellent communicator from the beginning and kindly upgraded our room, which we really appreciated. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. Pozzallo itself was a pleasant surprise. We only stayed overnight before catching the ferry to Malta, but we definitely wished we had allowed more time there. It has a relaxed, authentic atmosphere and offers a true local Sicilian experience away from the larger tourist destinations. We would happily stay here again and would recommend both the hotel and Pozzallo to anyone visiting the area."

"Nous recommandons cet hébergement pour des vacances en famille, pas compliquées, modestes et agréables (maximum 4). Nous y sommes restés 3 nuits. L’endroit est carrément à 2 minutes (accès direct) d’une très belle plage avec une eau claire et un sable sans roche. Il y a plusieurs restaurants typiques. Très peu de touristes autour de nous qui n’étaient pas eux-mêmes italiens (fin juin 2026). La piscine de l’hôtel est impeccable (pas de section profonde, donc pas de plongeon mais une belle piscine). Le site est très propre et bien entretenu. Il y a un stationnement sur le site, et la résidence est « gated ». Avant l’arrivée, les instructions d’arrivée sont en italien; on a demandé en anglais, et nous avons reçu. Un petit bémol: les chambres et l’espace de vie - grosso modo la petite pièce carrée avec la table pour manger - étaient plus petits que nous avions anticipés. Un grand réfrigérateur, pas de four standard, ni de four micro-ondes, mais une plaque au gaz. Une seule employée à la réception parle français et une autre parle anglais, mais pour le reste, on essaie de se comprendre. Il y a un frais de ménage à la fin et la taxe de touriste (Expedia avait mentionné un montant, à mon souvenir). On peut louer des serviettes de plage 4 euros par personne, pour le séjour. Ils nous prêtent des chaises basses de plage, pliantes, en plastique. En résumé, un beau séjour dans un village de mer sicilien, loin des grands sites touristiques."

"We arrived late, and the host was very accommodating. We were able to contact them and they volunteered to stay later just in case fortunately we made -in in time. They were incredibly helpful. Our room was a corner room, had a unique double balcony. Absolutely recommend them, very friendly and helpful! When we had trouble with the incredibly confusing, Italian train system we were driven to the correct station and got the Italian train station sponsored bus. It’s a nice town, and I wish we had stayed longer.These guys are amazing. Will definitely stay with them again if we’re ever in this part of the world!!!"

"Special thanks to the staff member who stayed in touch via WhatsApp answering immediately to all questions and helping with every little issue we had! The room is specious and clean with all the necessary amenities. Also, the hotel is located very close to Pozzallo train station, so you don't need to look for taxi to continue your trip around Sicily"

"The rooms are lovely, modern, well equipped and clean. Each room has a different name! ( we were in the 'Prince's Room'). Some things to know when staying at Carizza Rooms: - Hotels.com has an incorrect check--in time listed (2-4p.). Actual check-in is 2-3pm unless you notify property in advance. ( we arrived at 3:40pm to a locked door and stood outside for 10+ mins until manager arrived!) - The C-Rooms has a WhatsApp # (widely used in Europe): +39 331 359 1531 - there is no front desk or other property amenities. Just rooms. You are given keys for room and property front door. - there are no hooks to hang towels, clothes in bathroom. Also sink mirror is very low. Need a stool to sit on for make-up, or shaving! - no English spoken; have Google translate ready. - located a short walk downhill from train station. - very nice restaurant next door-- it shares same address."
