"Very large room. Good value for money. The FREE breakfast was decent. But we arrived at 3:00pm to check in and the room was not ready. They said 30 to 45 min. Very disappointing."

"The location was easily accessible to other things. Overall, the room was decent and clean, although the carpet was old and stained which made it look dirty, even though it was clean. I wasn't expecting the office to be locked in the morning with an outside box todrop the keys off and no breakfast, but that was fine. The parking lot was tight."

"Room was clean. Bed was soft. Air conditioning was minimal. TV lacked instructions or channel guide. Nothing to tell you what the WiFi password was. Front desk gave me password but wasn’t certain it was correct. After trying 4 or 5 different combinations of letters and number I chanced upon the correct password. But once I got signed in the system functioned without interruption. There are a number of restaurants within a three block walk so motel is conveniently located. If you going to ride the trail from Banks to Vernonia, overnight, and return the next day the Caden Motel is a great option."

"Easy off the freeway. Food nearby. TV remote didnt work, But the AC machine was quiet enough to have on and sleep. Shower was hot. Towels thin. Staff was friendly. A pretty good Motel 6."

"We weren't able to use the pool because they had a baseball team staying there. The breakfast was good and it was a convenient place to stay. The Mexican restaurant next door was very good."

"This is a lovely property tucked a little bit off the highway and along a creek. The beds were very comfortable! The rooms were nicely decorated and spacious, our room looked out onto some beautiful trees and a long the creek . The building smell musty, perhaps that was related to some construction that was going on or repairs? There was an issue with the bathroom sink draining. I had to run the water for quite some time to get it warm. At that point the sink was half full water because it would not drain. That probably needs to be called to someone's attention . The other matter that I was surprised at for the rating this hotel had received, was that there were very tiny toilets, very low and outdated. Meaning they were not high profile, which is what is required for most of us seniors these days! Other than these issues, I would give the hotel a pretty good rating."
