 Norse Skol Accommodations

Norse Skol Accommodations

10/10 Excellent
"At first glance, it may not look like much. It is an old school that closed in 2012. It comes complete with the school library and the trophies and academic achievement awards. However, the room, a firmer classroom, was huge, clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. It is a great jump off point for Lโ€™Anse aux Meadow. The view is lovely. There is an excellent restaurant, The Daily Carch, just a minute or two up the road."

Viking Lodge Motel

Viking Lodge Motel

10/10 Excellent
"We were extremely happy with our stay at the Viking Lodge. The owners have done a fantastic job updating and maintaining the property. The room was clean, beautiful furnished and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was more than sufficient to start your day. Hot tea and coffee, juices, hot and cold cereals, muffins and fruits. And the owner was on hand to answer any questions or make suggestions on things to see in the area. I would highly recommend this little slice of heaven on your next visit to Newfoundland."

"We were surprised at the rooming house set up at first. Luckily others were not too loud and were friendly - most people were long-stay residents. Claude and Phyllis (who cane each evening) were so welcoming and explained several things we needed to know! Location was very good for us, and we were away daily for the opportunities in the area!"
