"This is a new hotel and very good value for money. Fantastic swimming pool, good breakfast, friendly staff. Only disappointing thing was the gym because a lot of the equipment looked old and there were some essential pieces missing. The huge pool made up for it. The hotel has a restaurant that we didn't try but will next time because it looks okay and there are not a lot of restaurants in the area, despite what Google Maps says."

Deshalb konnte man Balkontür nachts getrost offenlassen. 24Std Zugang zu Kaffee, Tee, Ovomaltine. In der Nähe tolle Restaurants mit beispielsweise Spezialität Ente oder Hot Pot vietnamesisch. Die Altstadt zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders hübsch entlang des Flusses mit kleinen hippen, einheimischen Kneipen. Es wird kaum Englisch gesprochen, aber auch das macht ja den Reiz des Reisens aus. "Very good room, spacious. We had the triple room and it accommodated our family with two younger kids perfectly. There was a nice sized pool(in the shadow though), a trampoline and a playroom. The breakfast was nice, standart Thai and western cuisine. The city of Chanthaburi has a lot to offer if you have the time. For the price paid it was very good. Used as a stop between Bangkok and Koh Kood. "

"Our (2 adults, 1 child) stay at Maneechan was lovely, a very large resort in Chanthaburi. Excellent breakfast with Thai, Chinese and Western options including a great coffee. The pool is wonderful for children, however loud music is played from about midday on, and the rooms are not soundproofed, so not very relaxing either by the pool or in your room. Very clean and large rooms."
