"This is a really disappointing property on many levels. It is more of marriot mid-tier brand masquerading as luxury. It was a bit rundown generally, bathrooms have lime / calcium build up, wallpaper peeling, scuffed walls, door jams, etc. The spaces and layout is bizarre - so much dead space that looks like it’s for banquets, but visible wherever you are walking, rooms appear unfinished from a decorative perspective or lacking vision. The staff is not overly friendly. It is not very clean, there were plastic bottles stuck in overhead lighting in the hallways, unflushed poopy toilets in public spaces, children permitted to touch the omelette bar ingredients and no one replaced the ingredients with fresh ingredients. Aesthetically there were few places that were actually worth the money paid. Bathroom for pool outside of fence that required room key for entry. Waitlist for pool chairs (yes a holiday weekend, but should be designed to accommodate as many guests as property welcomes in at any time). Food was average at best, mainly underwhelming. Experience at The Edge was not very nice, horrible waitress who was rude. Rooms are kinda small, outdated, fire pits on our room were really unpleasant to use and view was crap (mtn side - looked at paved road - felt very not private). In general, my biggest complement to a property when I leave is the feeling that I want to come back - here I couldn’t want to leave. Not even worth complaining - they couldn’t change anything"
