"The staff were great and helpful and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We did not eat in the restaurant but the breakfast was fine and varied. The biggest issue for us was the constant building work. Expedia makes no mention of it on their website. Behind the restaurant, which everyone has to pass there is a huge mound of rocks and rubble. There’s a partially built bar area and behind the room block is another block being built. The pool is lovely but there are no loungers and when we asked for somewhere to sit the staff bought out two dining chairs. At the pool area there was the constant noise of tile cutting and dust. Each room has its own patio with seating but sitting here you could hear construction work. Either side of the pool is a path and this was used by trucks to transport materials to the building site beyond. They claim that it’s a private beach but it’s a section of the beach, which not unpleasant, can be accessed from other hotels along the beach. Many people walk back and forth along the beach so I’m not sure this qualifies as private. There some very heavy wooden loungers but they are out of the sun and have no mattresses. The beach is across the road from the hotel The photos shown on line are a row of newish cabins which are from the road to the beach. If using one of these you would have to cross the road for breakfast and the pool. We were bitterly disappointed, and let down by Expedia"

"Pretty disappointing, quite run down and needs a good clean, especially the bathrooms. A lot of items not in stock on menu, and they have no coffee machine so good luck getting a coffee other than milky filter from a communal pot in the morning. Staff are nice enough but not particularly competent, for example, we told them we were going for dinner in the restaurant and went in and sat down at a table, sat for 20 minutes and no one came over, though there were about 7 staff wandering around the restaurant. One other table was seated, and both of us ended up just leaving as we were ignored. We went next door to the coral hotel restaurant and wished we had stayed there as it was so much nicer. Room didn’t feel particularly clean and although the beaches are lovely, there is plastic EVERYWHERE, all over the stream next to the hotel and along the undergrowth near the beaches, it really spoils the beaches. No staff member makes any attempt to collect any of the plastic litter. I would encourage you to stay elsewhere - next door looks much better "

"I had a wonderful experience at this hotel from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and the staff was extremely welcoming and professional. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was cozy, and everything from the linens to the bathroom amenities felt high quality. The location was perfect — close to restaurants and shops, yet still quiet and relaxing at night. Housekeeping did a great job, and I appreciated the attention to detail throughout the property. Overall, it was a stress-free and enjoyable stay. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service. "
