"Amenities are very limited (bike and swimming pool) while WiFi is really a disaster, I mean working 1 time over 10 attempts.
Employees are top of the top: very professional and friendly"
"I enjoyed,my stay at Vaa I te Moana. Cynthia is a gem! She is so warm, welcoming and helpful. She directed me to a nearby grocery and gave recommendations for dinner. She arranged for an excursion to the Blue Lagoon with less than 24 hours notice. Her pancakes are fantastic. Breakfast every day was simple but filling and good.
The bungalow was exceptionally clean. I had, in my opinion, the best view as I was on the end. Unfortunately I had to sacrifice good wifi connection for that view, but it's ok. It was quiet being on the end. Go out at night and view the plethora of stars. Amazing!

"If you are a diver, look no further. If you want to literally get away from it all and live in paradise for a few days, look no further. If you want to do both, then you definitely have to go to Tiputa Lodge. Henry is the owner and he has certainly found a very special part of the world. He’s a fellow scuba diver and is very knowledgeable about the area, let him set you up with Serge, a local dive operator, and you’ll dive some of the most amazing sites ever. We saw dolphins every single day at Tiputa pass. It was legendary. You can ride a bike for 5 min to meet serge at the dock, or Henry will drive you, but I much preferred to bike, made for a cooler experience. Tiputa pass is just a short 5 minutes from the dock. From the moment you leave the lodge, you’re basically in the water within 20 minutes. And after a couple dives, you have a completely private beach at the lodge to spend the rest of the day. Great snorkeling right from shore as well. Make sure to request the waffles for breakfast, they are seriously delicious. The other great thing about Tiputa is that 250 of the nicest people I’ve ever met live there, and that’s an understatement. Everybody waves, says hello (or bonjour), it’s literally a happy little island. Henry couldn’t be a better host too. Just go if you can, I’m hoping I get to return one day. "
"Nicest OWB we have stayed in the French Polynesia! Staff was excellent and quite beautiful location. Only thing we would have changed a little was some additional lunch and dinner options at the restaurant. Food was excellent, breakfast included, just was looking for salads and more simple things.
Overall we would highly recommend Le Tikehau!

"We took our family of 4 and had a lovely time. The location is quiet, peaceful, and remote which we loved. We walked all around the property as much as we pleased and explored the beautiful scenery. The fishing was great and Captain was amazing. They even cooked the fish we caught and the chef was superb. It’s very easy to relax and unwind from the American hustle and bustle at Aotera. The host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful during the whole stay. It definitely was a week in paradise."
"The "cabins" are very crude. They don't have AC and are very dated. Having said that, it cooled off nicely in the cabin. There are gaps below door and around windows.
If you are prepared for crude then it will be a good stay. You are right by the ocean and very quiet. There are bikes, kayaks and standing boards available for use. The meals were very good too.
It was a good experience. Just don't expect fancy at all. "
"I don’t know what we would have done if the shuttle hadn’t dropped us off at the house and we talked to someone. The lodge and where we were staying was across the street and there is nobody in the house were we were told we were staying. It was a bit odd.
The room itself was fine and there is no complaints. We also had access to the water front across the street, but we didn’t stay at the waterfront house as I thought we booked."
