"Lovely room. I really appreciated the mosquito bed nets. Janet and her colleagues in the restaurant were fantastic. Neil on reception went out of his way to be helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Our stay at Lagoon Breeze Villas was perfect! The garden view villa was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower head strong! Beach towels were supplied and we had free use of the kayaks and snorkelling equipment. The resort provided insect repellant, and we also had screens on the windows and air conditioning which was super important. The hosts were lovely and the included breakfast menu had everything we desired, from toast to cereal, yogurt, fruits and fresh juice. The resort had a pool, but we never used it as across the road is the perfect swimming/snorkelling beach. We did have a hire car but there is a bus stop directly across from the resort. This place is very affordable and in a fantastic spot. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back! "

"Take ear plugs! The Roosters never shut up! The facilities are basic, but clean and OK. Pool is OK as long as large groups don't take over. Nautilus staff we found dismissive, Muri staff more pleasant. BBQ area is nice but the hot plates are old and barely heat meaning without an over, self catering is challenging. Good proximity to beach and great use of snorkles / kayak / reef shoes etc."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cooks Oasis! Although the resort is a bit difficult to find, due to signage at the street having been removed, we loved the location. We checked in on a Sunday which meant the staff was not working. No problem, they got the room ready and left us a note on their reader board as to how to access our Villa. This resort is not on the beach, but the walk down the shared driveway is very short and the beach is amazing. If you feel like doing a longer walk, it is only about 8 or 9 minute walk down the beach to Black Rock. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to Rarotonga. Our favorite local hangout was around a five or 6 minute drive from Cooks Oasis. If you have the chance visit the "Shipwreck Hut" beach bar. Good food and drinks. All of the staff were incredibly friendly. The view from the bar area is spectacular."
