Were Upgraded with our room overlooking the lagoon . Spotlessly clean. All the staff so friendly. Food excellent. Restaurants and drinks great. Only criticism was the main pool needed some attention many loose tiles. But the new adult pool was really good.

Great property, very quite, and luxurious, the staff is just super nice, and the pools are beautiful. If you have kids then you would enjoy the kids' club but it's over all a quite place.

The hotel is new and the staff was simply amazing. They took care of every detail in every way. The food and restaurants were a very high level. Quality and taste were superb. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was just perfect

Everything was amazing, the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating we were with our 8 month old, and they were kind enough to get us a baby tub and a sterilizer which I really appreciated. However the pool was old and needed major maintenance, the tiles was broken all over. Other than that we loved our stay!

Unexpected services

Overall, the hotel was very clean, and we appreciated the friendliness of the staff. However, the service was disappointingly slow. At checkout, we had to wait far too long for someone to collect our luggage. In the end, we carried it ourselves until we met a staff member halfway, who then took over. In the morning, we were disturbed by housekeeping staff working noisily in the corridor, which made it difficult to rest. The breakfast was also not up to standard. We arrived around 9:15 a.m., and most of the food was already empty. Instead of refilling items when they were nearly finished, they remained empty for quite some time. To make things worse, the glasses of water had an unpleasant eggy smell, and I had to request the waiter to replace them. We expected a much better experience given the price and reputation, but unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations.

Good: rooms were fabulous, spacious, nice design, balconies clean through stay. Ability to order different soaps and bath salts was a luxury and were great quality. Water sports were nice and catered to younger kids. Breakfast buffet was good and lots of options and did not get monotonous over the stay. Staff were great and tried fixing things (see pool comment below) Bad: Pool area was a zero out of five. Tiles coming out and floor around the pool area was unfinished / rough and difficult to walk on even if they gave the pool shoes. Pool was too shallow. Too many smokers around the pool and in the pool which is not great.

I thought the food let down this excellent resort quite badly, with the big exception of the pastry chef who managed to produce astonishing and inspirational cakes every day. The buffet main courses were simply slop every single day which is unacceptable in a resort like this. Please be aware that rooms with sea view really mean looking out over a lagoon with an ugly construction site on the other bank.
