"The location of this hotel is fantastic right on the lake front with a lovely pool and sunbathing area with steps to swim in beautiful lake Orta. The restaurant is very good and busy so the noise from the restaurant may be disturbing but we were ok with the balcony door to our room shut. "

"Great hotel and location if you’re looking for some peace and quiet. The rooms were clean and comfortable, it truly felt like staying at a 4-star hotel. The view was incredible; there’s nothing like waking up to that scenery and enjoying a cup of coffee on the balcony. The only complaint I had was with the beds, they didn’t quite meet 4-star standards."

Came for 1 night, stayed for 3!

"We had the most unforgettable stay at Riffelhaus 1853, and I can’t say enough good things about the incredible team here. Dior and Sven went above and beyond for us, and every single staff member made us feel truly cared for over the last four days. Their kindness, professionalism, and warmth made all the difference in the unique situation we were all just in. That kind of service is rare, and it meant the world to us. We wouldn’t trade the experience we just had for anything. We’re leaving with full hearts and a deep appreciation for all the people who made it so special. We will definitely be back—and until then, we’ll be singing the praises of Riffelhaus to everyone we know. Thank you for everything. You truly are something special! "

"Enjoyed my stay. Cute little hotel, great accomodation for the price. Only 1 night stay on a roadtrip. Attached restaurant was delicious and very reasonably priced. Breakfast included was a nice continental buffet. Staff friendly and helpful. Wifi was decent. Limited parking available. Would book again!!"

"It's located on the waterfront of Lago D'Orta, and Isola San Guilio in an eye shot distance. Nice vista on the lake. The property is well maintained and the staff are very helpful. I fee like this area better than Lake Como in which is less touristy and more quiet and better for relaxation"
