Samran Place Hotel

"I have stayed at Samran Place every time since 2005 when it opened. It is amazing to see the constant improvements and updates they made to the hotel. The staff has consistently stayed excellent whether front desk or cleaning or cooking staff or management. They also have a very good restaurant downstairs that operates from lunch time on. t is always a very pleasant stay and whenever I go to Bangkok I plan on staying there. The BTS Rachathewi station is only 5 minute walk and Siam square is only 15 minute walk if you want to brave the heat and not take the BTS. Very centrally located. For the next few years it seems there will be a lot of construction in front of the hotel on Petcheburi Road as the ever expanding great public transportation system expands--currently the underground Metro construction is going on. I did NOT hear construction noise in my room and construction is during work hours only. Again I enjoyed my stay and many thanks to management and staff for making stay so pleasant."

"As background, this was a one night transfer stay to be closer to the airport so I did not take full advantage of the property. The pics and descriptions of the hotel don't do it justice! The hotel is massive and beautiful. The price paid would have easily been triple in the US for a comparable property and room category. I ordered room service for dinner. I was a little disappointed that it took awhile for the call to be answered and then be told they would call me back to take the order as I was hungry. Once the food arrived, all disappointment disappeared. Presentation, quality, and portion were all beyond satisfying. The views of Bangkok from the towers are breathtaking. I would definitely stay here again when in Bangkok."

"Modern hotel with a rooftop Infinity Pool with a good view of Bangkok's skyline. Got a ticket for a welcome drink which was nice. We booked two rooms which were joining rooms which was nice. They only accept cash deposits and don't give it back to you until they inspect the rooms before you leave. The inspection actually discovered my daughter leaving her Apple charger and cord there so actually helpful. Room's AC was powerful and made the room a bit cold even when I raised it up to 26 celcius. Ari is quite a bit different from Sukhumvit as it feels more local than touristy. But if you look for the trendy cafes, they are there in Ari although they are way more expensive than typical Thai stores. I would stay at the Ari again if I wanted to stay in that neighborhood."
