"The welcome at reception was very friendly with plenty of useful advice. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bar was a pleasure and the breakfast/coffee room was well supplied. Overall, the hotel is a great place to stay and only a ten minute walk to the town centre. Highly recommended."

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, making it a great base for visiting family and exploring the surrounding area. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxed and inviting. It was a nice place to return to after a busy day of traveling and sightseeing. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend the Maldron Hotel Portlaoise to anyone visiting the area. We would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Ireland."

Great location, with lots of eating and shopping options in walking distance. Bonus, Our room had a great view of the Kilkenny castle and it’s within walking distance."
