"The Kings Head is so atmospheric - immediately upon walking in we felt at home, warm and cosy, very welcome after walking up to the 9 Standards Rigg in fog and rain. We stayed in Room 5, which we think was either above the bar or games room area and although we were aware of the music etc, it didn’t detract from our comfort and enjoyment.
