If you don’t like animals. Don’t go. Food was bad too ngl. The apartment itself is gorgieeee and they have a shuttle for free around rawai. The stray cat that lurked around, the stray dogs coming in and out of the property ruined my stay as I have a phobia :/

Cannot recommend this hotel enough! If you are looking for romantic and chill-back stay while the colors of the skies sooth you then I recommend Ananta. Started every day with a delicious breakfast and coffee in our Villa. Then relaxed in our king-sized bed and hopped into the pool. You are sealed off from the other villas therefore have your own privacy to do whatever you like :) Thank you to the staff, look forward to returning here when I am back in Phuket.

Friendly and helpful staff. I arrived a little before check in started, but it was no problem and was able to get into the villa right away. I used the grab app to get a ride or have food delivered since it’s a little further away from stores. Not too bad, but the app gave me more options. Overall a great place to stay if you’re looking for some privacy.

A really beautiful stay
This is a great place, but please read the reviews closely! It is not near Patong beach, bars, nightlife, etc. (which is a big positive to us!) If you want a beautiful villa, with great privacy, your own private secluded pool, luxurious folliage, friendly staff (they even bring room service for no extra charge!)...then you'll agree with me that this place is a gem! We would return in a heartbeat!

Make sure you request a villa that has sunshine!
It’s a lovely place the villa was nice although a little rustic! unfortunately we were in a pool villa with no sun! Kind of pointless really, we ate at the restaurant on the first night which was good but so many other amazing places to eat, felt a little isolated and security was lacking, given 2 padlocks to lock your villa up.. on the plus side it was a decent location for touring the south of Phuket. We hired a scooter through the reception which opened up some amazing beaches and trips out and you have free parking outside your villa! The staff were lovely and overall it wasn’t too bad..

Gay couple honeymoon stay
We booked 3 nights here as the first stretch of our two week honeymoon. When they found out it was out honeymoon, they decorated our villa with rose petals on our second day. The vibe here is very relaxed and romantic, and we enjoyed the little extras. We got a couples massage in our room that was very enjoyable, and also got the in villa bbq, which was a lot of food but so good. I would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Authentic real splendid thai experience in Phuket.
The Hotel Villas is located in the southern heart of Phuket away from the hustle and noise from traffic. well designed and very private where we really enjoyed the privacy of our own villa surrounded by bamboo and secluded wall yard. The swimming pool and outside shower with amenities gave it a special touch. From all 5 hotels that we stayed in Thailand this was our favorite of all. We will most surely return here again as it was fantastic. The owner and staff was very helpful and super friendly. This is a close to royalty that one can feel being in thailand.

A beautiful pool villa with private pool and garden. The main bedroom leada atraight out to the pool, but doesn't have an internal connection to the main area, so when it rains you'll get wet - but the spare bedroom is connected to the main area. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, gave us privacy when we wanted it, and only too happy to clean the villa when requested The villa isn't really walking distance to many amenities -unless you love walking (15-30 minutes), so we hired a scooter via Ananta, and used that to access restaurants, massages, 7-11, markets, and the beaches. A really lovely place.

Absolutely perfect, the staff was amazing, the room is private and beautiful, perfect honeymoon spot. The pool was clean and refreshing, the food was delicious. It is a little off the beaten path but the staff of the hotel was helped us arrange transportation everywhere. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Disappointing stay
The room was missing the slippers and when I asked reception they said they don’t have any. Bathroom downstairs was smelled really badly and kitchen wasn’t appropriately set up and did not have dishwasher despite of it was mentioned in description in the Hotels.com web. Set up and towels was torn apart and very old. Bike that was provided did have proper breaking system.

Excellent villa for some R&R
Enjoyed a weekend long stay at Villa 5 in May here. This is a resort where you will find the ultimate rest and relaxation. Don’t expect any night life in and around the resort cause there arent any. I am totally blown away by how well I was treated here. They figured out my birthday from my ID when I checked in and sent a birthday cake to the room! They also sent my breakfast to the room every morning right on time. On the second night a strong thunderstorm hit the area during the night and made a mess of the ground and my private pool but they were able to totally clean everything up the next afternoon. This is a resort that I have no problem come back when I am in the area again.

Excellent property. Definitely not luxury but more of a rustic cabin-style vibe. Overall I enjoyed it and the hospitality was excellent. Unfortunately there is a cat on the property that looks for every opportunity to run into your villa and hide underneath your bed. So we had to keep the door closed at all times. The cat would also cry at the door to be let in. This was annoying at times. If you are arranging hotel pick up for any activity, make sure you clearly tell them the name and location in Rawai. There is a similar hotel name called anantara on the opposite side of the island and some people may get confused if you do not make it clear. Nevertheless, I loved the experience at Ananta and would likely return!

This property is in Rawai so a bit further away from the hustle and bustle of busy areas like Patong. The resort is very quite and the villas have very unique setups. I liked the antique furniture setups and the layout of the room. The outside pool was amazing after a hot days exploration. The resort staff Pu, Moo, Noom and the lady driver whose name escapes me at the moment are just brilliant. The service and personal touch they provide makes the stay that much better. Thanks for looking after us and Providing all the tips about local areas to visit etc and I hope to be back one day and stay again. The resort offers halal menu and there are many mosques near by.

Clean and comfort place, nice experience there. Staff are friendly. Massage can do inside the villa, the staff are professional, although price a bit higher, but quality is excellent.

Beautiful and secure rustic villas
Beautiful and rustic. We felt very secure as the villa feels like it’s own little compound. We loved the private pool which was cleaned everyday. Their air conditioning is nice and coooold and the hot water is very hot. It is a bit out of the way and having a car is soooo much easier. We rented a car after the first day. The car rental place delivered and collected the car. We also got next day laundry svs which was picked and dropped off as well. The hotel does provide 3 separate times for specific drop offs and pick up shuttle svs. We are a fam of four- two teen boys and had to have two rooms because of the layout.I think the villas is more ideal for couples. The staff is very attentative and courteous.

The villa itself was fantastic. Very comfortable. The parking was a bit tight, and a couple times I was told (I think, through broken English) that my laundry would be picked up or dropped off at my villa, but I had to go to reception both times, which meant I left a little late. Small concerns that aren’t likely to impact most people, though.

A private villa with pool
I enjoy the moment stay in the villa, it's have a private pool and a breakfast in your villa. A car parking with the villa without walking to your room. The room come with the Jacuzzi too.

Good stay, great time. Bed was a little harder than it looked for myself, but thankful for the cold A/C and Fast WiFi. Other than that, no complaints about villas. Even had good experience with the taxi service from facility.

Great Villa yet we never used the pool!!!
Villa is very sophisticated and staff are AMAZING and very helpful. Yet, it is in the middle of nowhere!! and pool is surrounded by plants and ALL kinds of insects!!! We used it once and regret it!! Bugs inside pool and all around it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very disappointing as we paid 4 times a normal hotel room and never get to use the private pool. They deliver breakfast to the villa yet it was very small portions!! I mean, we stayed 5 days at normal 4 star hotel and we had MUCH better breakfast each day!!

Perfect place for rest and relaxation
It was a luxurious place to stay and we got it for a really good price on Expedia. But what was nice was the staff. They were so accommodating (not that we ask for much) but what we did, we were pleasantly surprised by their service. The front of house staff were great, despite the language barriers sometimes. The boxed breakfasts for our early morning departures were a nice gesture as well. They offered privacy when needed and they were quick when cleaning. The food was really good, the cook looked like a mum who regularly cooks that kind of food, so it had a more homely feel to it. After a few days, they figured out my favourite food, and anticipated what I'd order - slightly predictable but it was so yummy! It's about 40 minutes from Patong, but it was nice not being amongst it all, to be able to rest up when wanted. But also, it's not very expensive to get a taxi to Patong anyway - and the hotel provides that service and they give a good indication of how much a taxi should cost to each destination.

We have stayed for a week and have been made to feel most welcome. The aim of this small resort is to give a cosy feel in a fairly traditional setting. We had a set back with our booking, having made a mistake at my end, however the staff really pulled out all the stops to ensure that they found a solution, for which we are very grateful. The setting of the resort is a little off the main road to Rawai and backs up onto the hill forest, which gives it a great atmosphere. This will not suit luxury travellers or those seeking high octane night life, but if you are on the other side of the travelling spectrum you will be delighted by the friendliness and reasonableness. I have moved to a second resort on the other side of the island and prices have more than doubled, and I feel more like I am in Disney than in Thailand. Thanks to Dang, Pu, Moo and the rest of the team for a lovely week.
