"The rooms and hotel in general was very well maintained. Not much area to walk a dog. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The coffee was awful both too strong and sludge like. The rest of the breakfast was fine."

"The location was very good because you can walk to everything you need in the area. The only thing we didn’t like was the automatic $35 fee you can use toward meals etc in their restaurant, but if you don’t use it you get charged the fee anyway. We felt like it was a way to force us to eat in their restaurant."

"Easy and friendly check in. Took my corgi Cosmo and he was over the moon to greet the staff. Hotel Parking was full when I arrived but they gave me a few other options and one was MUCH cheaper. "

"A fine location with nice rooms and helpful staff. The bar on the 15th floor has a nice view of the harbor and pretty good draft beer. Don't order food - or at least the tots as the serving size is meager and quality very low. Not to mention the high cost. Like many cities, Portland does struggle with issues of housing and, sometimes associated, drug use. The Westin area of town does has abundance of both of these issues. We NEVER felt threatened but some might be uncomfortable in this area."
