"The facilities amenities offer as the whirlpool was out of order, dryer in laundry room is out of order and the bathroom toilet bowl loose with a foul sewer smell at times. The bathtub very slippery no lower hand-bars for people with disabilities or elderly. The room was nice and spacious but too much humidity in the room with some mold stain on the ceiling. No USB outlets and outlet for charging computer, phones and etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall rate a 9 out of 10."

"We stayed here for one night, arriving late evening. I didn't have time to do a lot of research, this is a motel, doors open to the outside. It was not noisy when we stayed (2nd floor, no elevator, outdoor stairs). The staff (and owner?) was very pleasant. When we arrived, the air conditioning was turned off, so the room was stuffy and 83 degrees. It cooled down in about an hour, but our unit was above the sink and short people would have trouble reaching it. The bed, shower, toilet, sink, towels, floor, fridge, and microwave were all very clean. Beware, the water pressure, at least in our room, was WAY to strong, it actually stung sensitive body parts. It was so strong, it rinsed the shampoo out of my long hair in 3 seconds. It would not be good for a young child, but the tub would have been fine for a bath. I liked the non-slip tub bottom. There is breakfast available, but it is mostly cold breakfast items. There was orange juice, milk, coffee and tea. Food-wise, your choices were packets of oatmeal, bread (white and whole wheat) /toast, little pre-packaged "danish" but all I saw was little coffee cakes. They had 3 types of cereal (frosted flakes, mini wheats, and raisin bran). There were lots of shopping and restaurant choices very nearby, but it was a busy area, so I don't think I'd recommend walking. I don't remember if there was a sidewalk. We would be able to stay again, it is budget friendly. In this instance, you get what you pay for, and important parts are clean."

"This property was in a great location for my trip to visit a friend in Hartford hospital. This property appears newer and well-maintained. The staff were excellent. The property was clean and the rooms were spacious. The staff provided warm chocolate chip cookies, which was a really nice touch. Also loved the coffee station. Never made it to the breakfast, but I’m sure it was great as well. I highly recommend this hotel. I would stay there again."

"The staff were friendly and helpful, but you have to pay 17.25 a day (even the day you check out) for amenities that we never used. The back door we used looks all scratched up and worn metal door on the bottom. Bad 1st impression. Rooms are prettily decorated with wall paper and curtains that match. 4 poster beds looked great and were comfortable. Breakfast was good with enough choices. English tea bags weren't replenished after one day and don't think they have a designated person to handle only the food area. We left early every day and came back late. It was quiet and clean so recommend it, but be aware you pay for amenities whether you use them or not. Staff were helpful and friendly."
