"We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment (senior studio with balcony ). It was all that we needed and right next to the pool which was handy . It was really handy for the train station and close to all the trams which meant that it was a great place to explore the area as well as France and Germany . "Hotel Metropol was perfect for our quick stay in Basel. It is located steps from the train station. The staff is helpful. When we arrived before check in to ask if we could store our luggage while sightseeing, they said our rooms were ready and allowed us to check in early. How nice! We were able to walk all over the city from our hotel. We enjoyed our one-night stay here. We were not able to have breakfast at the hotel as we had an early departure the next morning. We would recommend staying here. "
