Disappointing digs
The hotel was very drab. The beds were not very good and the night staff was useless. I asked to stay another night and they couldn’t confirm it. Asked when the mall opened and they gave me the wrong time by 3 hours. There was daytime receptionist that was outstanding!

Not perfect but very good deal. Location is a plus
I stayed in one of the not renovated rooms. The rate and the location compensates that the hotel in some points could benefit from some renovation. Mattress is hard and bed linen and towels have seen better days. But staff is friendly, breakfast is very good and in my opinion the most important it is clean. The location is fantastic. Yes I’ll stay here again because overall it’s very affordable - if not the most affordable in this part of the city - which makes it a fantastic deal.

Very tired and not well kept
The hotel is old, not well kept, premises are very run, very tired and shabby with makeshit stuff (like the light in the rooms and corridors). They didnt have a iron and iron board I could borrow.

If you are looking for a fair price rate for a hotel by the beach, the Internacional Palace might be an option to consider. However, be ready to get what you paid for. I found an old hotel, my room looked okay but smelled mold, the bathroom didn't get proper cleaning and the food served at the downstairs restaurant sucks. On the good side, the staff was friendly and the breakfast offered a good variety of local food. Good Luck!

I stayed for 2 weeks on a business trip - it was where my client authorized stay for reimbursment. Price was cheap. Close to beach, which is nice. Pretty beach, but no one (not even locals) go in the water because of the high threat of shark attack, historically, except for very low tides when the waves don't make it over the reef. Walking distance to a very nice shopping mall. Decent food - some is great, some a little blah, but overall not bad. I had the same two waiters every night that were pretty good. Room service is terrible. No towels or blankets in the room, only sheets on the bed, I had to ask [and wait] for them. No iron/ironing board. I had to ask for new rolls of toilet paper when needed. Not once in 2 weeks were the hardwood floors swept. Door was busted off of the room safe, which as an immediate indicator of what my stay would be like. Never felt comfortable leaving valuables in my room. The surrounding area off of the beach is pretty dirty and is crawling with prostitutes, pimps, sex shops, abandoned buildings, and other unsavory characters in the evening. Didn't feel safe sometimes, wouldn't want to take my family there. If you don't need to stay IN the city, you are better off at the Sheraton Hotel south of the city - prettier beaches, much nicer facility, no crowds. I imagine that the price difference will be significant though.

Great location
First of all, this hotel's customer service is very good. They are courteous and always willing to help. Having said that, they could have gone an extra mile by solving my internet issue. During my two night stay, I had no internet. They never provided me with a solution - something I would have immensely appreciated as I needed internet in my laptop for work. Besides that issue, the hotel is right in front of the beach, having a good location between touristic areas, beach and shops. It's also about 15 min away from the Recife International Airport (Uber is available). The morning breakfast is stupendous, having hot & cold options, fruits, yogurts, etc. The room was clean and the bed were comfortable (midfirm mattress). There's a small pool on the main floor and a gym (though I did not find the gym). If vacationing (in no need of internet), I'd stay again. If going for work, I'll need to look at other options. Also, most rooms have tremendous views of the city and or the beach!

This hotel management is not good, is a desastre! If you want to stay in a place that you do not want your dog to stay! This is the place. The restaurant is a joke!

The rate through Expedia was very good and I had a nice big quiet room. For the same amount of money I have stayed in less desirable places in Boa Viagem. On the other hand I would not have booked there if I had to pay the full price. I had to extend my stay in Boa Viagem by one day, The hotel would not give me the same rate, so I went somewhere else but in the end I regretted, although I saved a few dollars.

Excellent venue - room with little beach view
We had a nice stay in Recife with a mix of days at the beach and some sightseeing in Recife and Olinda. The breakfast was excellent, so was the dinner that we had several times in the hotel restaurant. The hotel was helpful with booking tours. To go to the beach, we just had to cross the main beach avenue in Boa Viagem. The reefs protected swimmers from sharks. The light winds kept the temperature below 30 degree Celsius. The disadvantage was that our room hardly had any view of the beach.

Nice hotel overall, good breakfast and coutyard pool and the rooms have a nice little balcony some with views. is just a bit pricey for Recife in my opinion. The beaches in Recife are not good and now full of sharks so you cannot even swim. But good place for Carnival.

Um pouco abaixo do razoável!’
Limpeza fraca!! Tinha uma unha cortada no sofá do quarto e deixamos para ver se iriam remover mas não foi feito! No café da manhã faziam tapioca ou omelete mas não sabíamos e também ninguém ofereceu!! Fiquei sabendo quanto um hóspede pediu para fazer mas já era o dia de deixar o hotel!!

Amamos tudo, a cama é enorme, tem sacada com vista para o mar, o chuveiro é maravilhoso, o café da manhã é espetacular e está localizado na melhor parte da praia de Boa Viagem.
