"We had a wonderful experience! The staff was kind and very helpful. Our room was stunning and very spacious for a family of 5! The breakfast was amazing, and all of the activities on site were very fun - we especially enjoyed the cooking class! I would absolutely love to return here. "This hotel was absolutely fantastic! Set in the beautiful scenic Chianti Hills of Tuscany. The buildings and the property had been a 16th century village. And all of the buildings had been beautifully restored to return it to originally and feel, but to include all the modern amenities. The staff were all highly. professional,well friendly, courteous, welcoming and extremely accommodating – going above and beyond with every request presented to them. The rooms are all clean, comfortable with spotless, modern bathrooms, and importantly, during our stay while air conditioned. The daily complementary breakfast buffet was always well prepared. With a great variety of fresh pastries, biscotti, and cakes and numerous coffee and beverage options and coldhot cereals, abundant freshly cut bowls delicious fruit. Also including several protein items, including scrambled and poached eggs, fried prosciutto. With several other meat and cheese options to top up the protein.. The lunch is a wonderful selection, including great salads, sandwiches and pastas. And the dinners were wonderfully prepared Italian specialties with many meat and pasta options. Despite a few excursions into Florence, we took most of our meals at the hotel, where we usually ate on an outdoor patio, surrounded by the beautiful countryside and attended to by the charming and ever-helpful staff. I cannot recommend the Salvadonica hotel strongly enough!"

"This hotel and property is like out of a Hollywood romance or princess movie! Staying here is going to be a core memory for me. At times, it seemed like we were the only ones here. Our first day, I roamed around the garden during the early evening, and I was in complete solitude for at least an hour. During my stroll around the property, I saw a fox run past me, which just added to the storybook feel. Our family of 4 arrived on a Thursday and left on Monday. We had the Della Duchesa Suite and they had 2 single roll-away beds prepared for the kids. The A/C works great, which is hard to find good A/C in Italy. The breakfast buffet was included in our suite and was absolutely delicious. I didn’t want to leave."

"Overall the hotel is nice. It's clean and modern. Rooms are comfortable but the shower is tiny, lol. Staff are helpful and friendly, but I primarily picked this hotel due to two things. It had a pool and it offered gluten free food in the restaurant. The pool areas was nice, if small, but tricky to get sun all day as it's surrounded on all sides by the two stories of the hotel. It didn't seem to be used that much while we stayed so we were free to move the loungers around but this may not always be the case. Gluten free was where I was disappointed the most. We arrived late on the first day and the restaurant was still open, but my GF partner's only option was a bit of beef and some roast potatoes. We gave it another go a couple of days later to see if having a relaxing day just at the hotel was an option, but again the selection was very limited, so we stayed later in town than we would usually have done. Probably the biggest downfall is the hotel's location. It states it's only a few kilometers outside the centre of Florence but it takes 45 minutes each way due to the one way system and the current roadworks. The shuttle bus is free but it doesn't take you into the city centre but this was more of an issue for me as I have mobility issues. Buses are hit an miss. They say they come every 20 minutes but this is wishful thinking. We waited an hour at the stop and then three number 23 buses pulled up one behind the other. Not the hotel's fault but just a heads up."

"Very modern clean complex, rooms were excellent in presentation,but lighting in room I found confusing knowing where to switch on and off. Bath height for me was to high to hurdle not sure how most will get into shower without slipping probably needs a step but then slipping would be an issue. To far out of town for me 2 nights and taxi x 4 trips 150 euro then this morning when i got dropped in I saw the guy who checked me out and gave me Taxi name and number was there in a Radisson Blu vehicle dropping off people, when I was Told best was taxi ????"

"A lovely stay with my wife and 12 week baby. We had some initial difficulties with the room (AC not working), but marianna the manager was superb at sorting as soon as she was back on shift (we arrived late in the night and the night porter wasn’t helpful…!) We moved to a suite which I would recommend (31 or 32). The rooms have incredible views, and in June the pool was a lovely 30 degrees with some jacuzzi jets and the most amazing view. Continental breakfast was good and you can get drinks through the day and snacks, and pre order dinner. There was some small visiting works going on, but they were out of the way and clearly indicate that the hotel is trying to improve. Very good parking and I did note an electric charger that looked powered. We would definitely return and was ideally located for a rustic, up-market and authentic Tuscan hotel."

"Pros: Beautiful place, great location and it was easy to catch a bus into Florence, nice view. Restaurant on site, I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant, but it really looked nice and the customers seemed like they really enjoyed it. . Very roomy, plenty of space. Great parking and car charging also available. Staff was very helpful and they serviced the room. CONS: They do charge for very basic Breakfast=sliced meats, pastries, and coffee. The wifi was sketchy the first day. The air conditioner was weak. I would have to open the windows at night to cool the room down."
