"Based on the most recent reviews I was very nervous. Upon arrival to the resort we were pleasantly surprised! Yes there is seaweed- there may be a scent but we didn’t let it ruin the trip (it’s really not that bad people) the resort was gorgeous. Johnny met us with our delicious margaritas and Celeste helped us with our check in. They even let us check in early! Neil gave us a fun ride up to our room, he gave us some recommendations on coffee shops and restaurants, and even carried in all of our luggage and groceries to the room. Tia and Rochelle were so helpful and responsive via text (they even brought up laundry detergent for us). We did two sails from the resort (the sunset cruise, and the snorkel cat) which I would tell ANYONE to sign up because they were so much fun! Be sure to head up to the license to chill pool- the view is amazing and the bartender was great! The resort is heavy walking- rides are available but we found walking to and from the room was just fine. You gotta walk off the rum somehow! Overall a great stay- we would stay here again and recommend to family and friends!"

"This place was exceptional. Whole condo to yourself. Gated parking. The beach is directly on the property with shade trees to sit under if you don't want direct sun while enjoying the beach. The water was clear and clean. Beach Chairs are provided free by the property management. Norma, one of the staff members, was a delight to talk with and has a great outlook on life."

"I love staying at the Ritz in st Thomas. More than anything we enjoy the employees. They are always helpful and make the trip worth it. I traveled there 2 years ago and I noticed several cut backs and things that they could improve on. For instance the serve the same food every single day for breakfast potatoes, bacon/sausage and eggs. They need to add pancakes and French toast because the food gets boring. The have different options for the lunch/ dinner snacks but again not very family kid friendly so you pay all that money to have a lounge, if you drink you have access to alcohol and regular beverages but for the up charge of the club it wasn't worth it like it was 2 years ago when they had a lot better options. They do offer other restaurants but they are very pricey. Just for one order of chicken strips and fries at 9-10pm was $50 and that was the only option for food at that time of night and $35 of it was to deliver it. Plan on having lots of tipping money because the only way to get good service is to tip the employees for everything and like I said they make the trip worth it. The friendliest people are prince at bell desk, Bertha, Ruth, Catherine and Susie at the club. They are the best."
