"We thoroughly enjoyed a 2 week honeymoon at Casa Cook El Gouna on ‘half board’. There was a big variety of food to choose from each day and the restaurant chefs & waiters went above and beyond to cater to your needs. The staff in general were accommodating from the moment of arrival until our check out. The resort includes various optional/complimentary experiences week to week, which really adds something special to your stay. The spa area is very relaxing and we really enjoyed having massages. The resort itself is located in the private area of El Gouna, which is its own little exclusive paradise, in the middle of many beautiful lagoons, pretty harbours and other resorts. Our only downside was that renovations were being made to the front beach pool area and the gym during our stay, which meant we couldn’t use these facilities - a discount or compensation of some kind should have been offered if the full resort experience was not going to be possible. Other than this, we loved our experience and would love to return in future."

Even The pool cleaner Chebl saw I needed something and dropped everything to come help me. We were sad about missing the excellent breakfast because our plane left early so the front desk set us up with smoothies, cappuccinos and to go boxes for the airport. They work as a team here and it shows."

"A Pleasant Stay, But Honeymoon Expectations Were Not Met Overall, our stay at Jaz Aquaviva was pleasant, and we enjoyed our time at the resort. However, as this was our honeymoon, we expected a more special experience. Unfortunately, the hotel did not provide any memorable honeymoon arrangements or special touches, which was a little disappointing. Additionally, the air conditioning in our room was not very effective, and the room temperature was not as comfortable as we expected. The stay was generally nice, but there is room for improvement, especially when it comes to special occasions and guest comfort."

The room was beautifully furnished with 3 balconies providing 270 degree view. The property’s true strength is its beautiful beach and sunset views. The main shortcomings is a very limited number of restaurants (2) which is rather unusual for such a sprawling resort. All in all, an excellent stay."
