"The hotel is not being maintained. The woodwork is damaged and not painted. The coffee maker was unusable. The pillows were lumpy and old . The shower curtain was ready to fall off. The light switches and electrical outlets were old and dirty."

"They need better night staff. The people are so rude and condescending. They will try to hustle you into deposits that weren't apparent up front before booking, then blame it on Expedia. I paid and booked online during a family trip. Upon arrival, they said Expedia shouldn't have allowed me to purchase this room because they don't allow 5 people. I have 3 small kids that fit into 1 bed just fine, and we had just spent 6 days at an Anaheim motel 6 with no issues. So after driving all day, Redding was our half way home point. It was 11p.m. I arrive to the motel I already paid for to have the VERY RUDE men working telling me basically if I don't pay for a second room and split my family up, and pay a $100 deposit for each room, I couldn't stay there! Any time I tried to speak, they cut me off and talked over me and down to me like I'm stupid. I was practically begging them to give me the room I prepaid for as of was nearing midnight at this point and we had been driving all day with 3 small kids and just wanted to go to sleep. They weren't budging and told me it wasn't their problem and put it all off on Expedia. I was able to contact Expedia and get a full refund as well as a $25 credit for the crap we had to go thru. I immediately went across the street to the Comfort Inn where they took us in with open arms for only $20 more. No deposits. No problems with 5 people in one room. It was A MILLION TIMES NICER than Motel 6 and had a hot breakfast bar for the kids. "

"Good mattresses, clean bathrooms & larger showers with floors less slippery than the ceramic bathtubs . One negative . . . all the luggage trollys are up in the lobby where there are currently no guest rooms while our building had No trollys & it was a LONG walk to the to the building with the lobby ."
