"I am SO DISAPPOINTED in Bowman Lodge.
First of all, because it was $188.++ for ONE night! After paying that, my extended family and I ate at Grazer's, which was most excellent food AND service. There were 18 people; the bill, including generous tip, was $350!!! I don't even care about THAT because I was spending quality time with my family.
Perhaps it was MY mistake to think that the hotel would grant me a late checkout on Sunday. Perhaps dropping nearly $500 on their collective establishment means NOTHING to them, but it DAMNED SURE means a LOT to MY budget!!
The absolute one POSITIVE was that the entire establishment was CLEAN. (and the horses in the pasture behind the property were so picturesque!)
Needless to say, next time I go to Bowman, I'll stay at the Super 8 or ANYWHERE that charges WAY less money for one night."
