"We loved the location and it was just what we wanted! A modestly priced, cute hotel on Brand Blvd, a few doors from our favorite, Porto’s! It is upstairs but the staff was very helpful and brought our bags up and down the stairs!"
"Breakfast was good. Staff was great. Housekeeping missed cleaning out room the first day and we found a blueberry in the sofa bed when we pulled it out. Maybe improvement on housekeeping, scheduling and through check on room from previous tenants."
"The property is very well maintained. The room was very clean and comfortable. The rooms are quite cozy, so if you don't like tight spaces do not stay here. The parking ($10) is horrible, I'm glad we were in our Honda Civic and not our SUV. There are limited spaces and slots are very small. The air-conditioner was super loud not sure if ours was having issues or if it's normal for all the units. We arrived at 240 pm and we were told that we had to wait until 255 to check in or pay for a early check in which is $40, WHAT? We've never paid a early check in fee, we have paid a late check out fee which makes more sense. So we waited the 15 minutes in the car. The parking lot at this time had 3 cars, one of which was ours. All things being said, we would stay here again for a quick 1 night stay."
"The housekeeping was excellent — fresh towels and empty waste baskets which is no longer the case in most/many hotels. Staff were friendly and pleasant.
My three suggestions are (1) to employ someone who can assist older guests get heavy luggage up the fairly long, steep stairs to the second floor while not doing other tasks and be tipped for his/her help. (2) Have air conditioning controls in Fahrenheit rather than centigrade, and
(3) Less importantly, the rather high pitched recorded voice chanting “welcome” every time the office door is opened is unnecessary and annoying."
"My only complaint is that the Ice machine was not working on my floor which was the 10th and I had to go go down one by one until I sound I working on on the 7th."
