Some time after making the reservation I called to ask how to check-in given that it said there is no front desk and I didn't receive any instructions. "It is an old beautiful castle which in my experiences it should be a museum not a hotel, maybe a wedding or gathering outdoor.… Its too old and the smell and the wood Oder was too strong to breathe, The service and staff were great, beautiful breakfast in the garden. we paid for 2 nights and arrived late but unfortunately, I couldn't stay longer we left after breakfast."

"Nicly situated hotel with beautiful view over Bodenmais. Pool, sauna, garden, restaurant and bar at the hotel. New proprietors (June 2025) which did everything to make us feel welcome and at home. A lot of out door activities avaliable in vicinity. Summer rodel was on our 12-year top list. Staying at Luca in Bodenmais gave access to a local activity card which gave really good discounts on a lot of activities - for instance was two tours with summer rodel at Silberberg, ski lift and tour in...

"Die Unterkunft sieht genau so gut aus wie auf den Bildern. Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren vorhanden. Ebenso ein Parkplatz vor der Tür. Des Weiteren war auch die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet und es fehlte nichts. Wir haben erst ein paar Stunden vor der Ankunft gebucht aber auch das war kein Problem und der Check Inn verlief reibungslos. Auf dem Gelände befindet sich eine Baustelle. Das sieht man auf den Bildern nicht aber uns hat das auch nicht gestört da wir nur morgens und abends in der...

"Wunderschönes uriges Hotel im typischen bayrischen Stil gehalten . Pool war angenehm und bei einer unglaublichen Aussicht konnte man die Seele baumeln lassen. Das Frühstück war essenziell gehalten , aber mit lokalen und hochwertigen Zutaten. Der Service war toll und wir haben uns erholen können . Klare Buchungsempfehlung."
