Randi checked us in earlier than the 4pm guaranteed check in time. The room was spacious and clean. We stayed in the Sea Shell Suite, off of Wilmington Avenue. We didn't have any problems with noise or parking. The main inn was a quick walk and the walk to the beach was easy. Lew was helpful, giving us information about the area. We'll be back again! A great place to stay.

The amenities at the Avenue Inn & Spa were plentiful. Free Wi-Fi, breakfast, hot tub, wine & cheese, indoor pool, cookies, and sauna were a few of the amenities. However, the floors in the rooms were not as clean as I expected. The floors in the common areas were decent, and the atmosphere was cozy. Updates to a handheld shower head and a full length mirror in the rooms along with luggage carts on each floor at the Avenue II would be nice. Overall, I enjoyed my stay (close proximity to the beach and one free parking spot helped). I would return to stay in the main building. The staff was excellent, courteous and friendly.

The appeared to be a little rough around the collar, not as professional as most places. However, the stay itself was good. The rooms are nice, as are the amenities such as sitting room with fireplace. The breakfast in the morning was quite terrible some items being overcooked others items being cold. The wine and cheese from 5 to 6 was a very nice gesture, I enjoyed that. Also loved having the wonderful fireplace on the rainy night.
