From the amazing view of the sea to all the varied wildlife in the grounds, posse of monkeys visit every day drinking from the pool and generally being monkeys to peacocks, a mongoose, frogs, all the birds. Nick the owner is a friendly chap and clearly set the ethos of this place and is always around to help if needed. Kalpa and Umesh (managers) are great, absolute credit to the place. "I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Voulez-Vous! The hotel features a cool, arty vibe with unique murals that really add character. Its private beach and lush garden are perfect spots to relax and enjoy some peace. The rooms are super clean and comfy, including air conditioning, which is a huge comfort. The staff are super friendly and always there to help you out. Another big plus is the coworking space. It offers reliable Wi-Fi and stunning views of the sea and palm trees, making it an ideal spot for those who need to work. I definitely recommend Hotel Voulez-Vous for anyone visiting Dickwella. It’s a great choice whether you're looking to chill or need a productive escape."

Amazing place, great vibe, excellent service

"Amazing stay, even extended twice. The service is second to none, everything is no problem. From the amazing view of the sea to all the varied wildlife in the grounds, posse of monkeys visit every day drinking from the pool and generally being monkeys to peacocks, a mongoose, frogs, all the birds. Nick the owner is a friendly chap and clearly set the ethos of this place and is always around to help if needed. Kalpa and Umesh (managers) are great, absolute credit to the place. Can’t say a bad word, if we are back to Sri Lanka then a visit here will be on the cards again. We had 2 rooms, both great, outdoor showers, very clean, air con, amazing views over the lagoon, comfy beds. Best place we stayed in Sri Lanka, only left as we had plans. The beach is 2 min walk away past all the hermit crabs, we saw baby turtles going into the sea one evening just before they close the beach due to conservation. We then went another night with the turtle conservation next door and witnessed a turtle laying eggs. This place has it all."

Wonderful stay

"The property is wonderful with a great facilities!!! The villa was very clean, sofa bed was ready and the bed was very comfortable. AC or fan is in the rooms which is I founded very convenient. Beach towels are provided, so you don’t have to take from home. Bathroom is very clean, plenty of branded toiletries (smells amazing). I was missing a shower cap only (if you don’t want to get your hair wet under the shower, as sometimes you have to take few during the day). Towels are fresh and soft, feels like in the Spa. Pool area is spectacular!!! Most of the time we had it to ourselves. Restaurant is very cosy and inviting. Our breakfast was included in the price. The food was delicious. I would say that 4 pieces of toast for 3 people is not enough. I would recommend to have at least 2 toast per person and would be great to have a glass of fresh juice too. We have used restaurant for dinner and a lunch; good choice of meals (western) and few local options available. The staff is helpful and trying to accommodate every need. I would highly recommend this villa to my friends!!! The views are pictures!!!"

What a gem

"This is truly a lovely hotel, with a great pool and beach front. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and grounds are very well maintained. Entrance feels grand and welcome us very warm. Great kids club. Would definitely return if I had the opportunity. Only minus I experienced was the upselling (day trips, spa treatments) during breakfast. While this may work well with some of the clientele, I found this quite annoying."
